This is what I am doing. Minus the week long party on your island, of course. I can't even get verc to cough up a mat in his basement to reduce lodging costs

Man I would if I could swing it. How far of a drive is it?

It's 5-6 hours, but it's on the way to Knoxville for me. And I'm going to the game this weekend anyways.

Those of you gents with the season VOL tickets, what is the going rate on those (if you don't mind)?.. thinking about going that route next season.

Face value on the tickets, plus a "donation" depending where your seats are. My seats in Section Q were a $500 donation per seat, and I have two tickets. The closer you get to the 50 yard line, the higher the donation amount required.

They did a steal on some of the corner endzone seats this year...it was like a $500 donation for a pair of tickets or something. I'd say you can get in on that again next offseason based on the season we're having so far. Then you have the option to keep your seats and renew every season.

Just depends how committed you are to tailgating on gameday. If you don't mind spending a little time looking for tickets prior to kickoff, you'll save yourself a boatload of money. If you don't mind to pay and not have to worry about looking for tix and sit with the same people every week, it might be worth the money.

Seriously? There's a whole box of them over at my moms house. I've got all the characters, the van and a lot if other stuff. Are they only valuable in unopened boxes or do they even hold some value if they've been played with?

Actually I was playing that when I was three years old on the original Nintendo. And I was always the Braves. Even in toddler form I was a #B4DL

This year they did packages where you could choose one good game (UGA or SC) and two of the other games for something like $170.

Interesting. I definitely don't have any if the original boxes, but I've got a ton of stuff. I'll have to look into sometime.
