Lukaku is the striker we have been missing since Duncan ferguson. Wish we could keep him past this year, but even with the Fellaini money doubt we can turn the loan into a signing

Yeah, that's the rub. Chelsea's just going to yank him back. Team is totally different with him up there.

I really don't understand how Chelsea felt it was a good idea to loan him out this year, much less let him go for the long term. To have Lukaku at your disposal and choose to continue to run out Torres over and over again just makes no sense to me.

I defintely don't get it. But then I don't completely understand all the "loans" and what not. But he seems like such a stud not sure why they wouldn't want him.

Most of the talk I've heard about it has to do with him just being young and Mourinho just wanting him to get experience and mature before he could be an every game striker for him. Which would make perfect sense to me if they still had Drogba up top but Lukaku is already a better alternative to Torres.

If this was five years ago or so Torres and Eto would be a great pair up top, unfortunately for Chelsea it is not five years ago

Also, it is early but certainly not going to complain about a win here putting everton in a champions league position
