Ha, not exactly. I work for the government, and the House and Senate haven't been able to come to an agreement that will actually fund the government for next year yet...so if they don't come up with something by midnight, I'm on leave without pay until they do.

I love my job, and can't believe I get paid to do it...this is just one of the few times that I'll be asked to suck it up for a few days. Luckily I am a blessed man and I'm not forced to live paycheck to paycheck.

On the brighter side, you guys will be seeing a lot more of me in this thread!

This is what I am doing. Minus the week long party on your island, of course. I can't even get verc to cough up a mat in his basement to reduce lodging costs

Those of you gents with the season VOL tickets, what is the going rate on those (if you don't mind)?.. thinking about going that route next season.

If you want to get the same seats every year it'll set you back $1000 in donation plus the cost of tickets (roughly $700 this year). If you don't mind moving around from year to year you can get away with a $250 donation plus the cost of tickets. Until the team starts getting better you'll come out much cheaper just buying them on the street, even if you have to pay a premium for a game or two.
