Early, hypothetical 25 man that won't happen but I would love to see and I think we could afford
2B Stephen Drew
SS Andrelton Simmons
1B Freddie Freeman
LF Justin Upton
RF Jason Heyward
3B Chris Johnson
C Evan Gattis
CF B.J. Upton
Drew would be a great, great option for 2B. I think with Mac/Meholm coming off the books, you could afford Drew for 3/30. I would seriously look at Saltalamacchia at catcher, but I don't know what the market would be for him. Very solid year.
Bench
Schafer
Pena
Laird
Terdoslavich
Chris Young
Chris Young can play all three outfield spots. He kills lefties and his value is down after being a 4th OF in Oakland and struggled adjusting to the AL. Would be a great pickup to replace Reed Johnson. Schafer has great speed, solid D, and gets on base against righties. Pena and Terdoslavich are both switch hitters than can also face lefties.
Starters
Medlen
Minor
Teheran
Beachy
Wood
Making the assumption that Beachy is healthy. Would like to sign Triple A fodder veteran.
Relievers
Kimbrel
Avilan
Walden
Carpenter
J.P. Howell
Ryan Bucther
Varvaro
Howell kills lefties, he can handle the 7th inning role, and had a good year in LA. I think he would be worth a flyer. Butcher is a Triple A guy who struck out 100 guys in 62 innings and is left handed. Has had two excellent seasons back to back in Atlanta. He's 26, but I think he's worth a shot to start the season instead of signing another reliever where we can wait on Venters and/or O'Flaherty.
