While I agree Fried will be gone after this season the Sale extension would not prevent Atlanta from bringing him back. Sale is Morton’s replacement.

They’re very much banking on Waldrep/AJSS working out and fixing Ian after his TJS. I have serious doubts.

For the well earned eye rolls that AA gets, I do like Kelenic a lot. A bunch of the stuff he is doing is bordering on ridiculous and he has burnt the farm system to the ground and strangely allocated the payroll but the team, without injury, is really good! I don’t think we have any avenue to improve in the event of injury and we don’t a single reasonable backup to any position player. We also don’t have a shortstop but can’t be perfect.

Love the focus on adding K’s. Don’t love the focus on needing to add K’s by destroying the defense, but ya win some ya lose some.

Its hard to be mad at AA, because of the roster hes built, but I think there is room to be frustrated.
Him being so risk averse in the FA market is really frustrating. Not signing Harper, letting Freddie walk, not having a better plan for SS than Arcia, not moving off his offer to Degrom, no Bogarts. Its just frustrating how risk averse hes been in the FA market.
