The Bash Juan Montoya Thread!!!

Well we're up to 4 now out of the 25+ races he's ran this year, even that one was another incident where he just pushed up into the car beside him, that happens every race and as he gains experience with these cars he'll understand that.

Does he not get it. Even I understand that handling goes away in the cars during the July race. He should have known he couldnt stay in the throttle. Montoys is really endangering lives out there.
He's apparently not the only that doesn't get it. Cars were sliding up the track into the wall all night.

If Pruett didn't know he was there despite Montoya clearing being under him, then it's just a racing deal where two cars were going for the same space. Why blame it on Montoya then?
Montoya was no where near clearing being under him. I think you are refusing to watch the footage because you know what you'll see. Let me spell it out for you as I watch:
Okay they are headed down the straightaway, Pruett leads by a car length.

Announcer says "If I was Brad Parrot, I'd be telling him to take his time here. Don't make your move too quick."

Montoya pulls out from behind Pruett, not before as I had earlier thought, but AS they were both entering the turn. Pruett tries to complete the turn hugging the inside, as anyone who has ever driven a road course before will tell you, is the correct way to enter a turn, and in a split second. Montoya is there and Pruett spins. Boris Said goes by through the grass....

1. Stewart/Texas
2. Raines/Martinsville
3. Nextel Open
4. Dover
5. Harvick/Daytona

Actually only 3, I don't want to count ones where the handling of the car was the reason, but for you I will. There's 5, and only 3 were stupid. A far cry from "every" race.

I watched the footage once like I said to reinforce what I already knew, Montoya went under him in the turn and Pruett came down. That's it.

3. Nextel Open

Actually only 3, I'm not going to count accidents caused by a poor handling car. If we're going to do that, the entire field would have quite a list.

A crash is a crash. I also see where you're leaving off the Busch series.

Read that one link I gave you and read the last 2 pages of this topic. You just fail to accept the fact that Montoya is crazy.

You apparently failed to read my posts of the accidents where I clearly said Montoya was at fault. You are the one that has a clouded judgment due to your bias. A slanted blog that counts JPM GETTING wrecked as a major incident AGAINST him is not a reliable source and neither are the last two pages of this topic where you displayed that you are finally capable of posting YouTube links.

Here's my third post saying I watched the YouTube link:

I watched the YouTube link of the Mexico race.

I didn't need to see that to know JPM was on the inside going into the turn, but thanks anyway.

There's no room for Montoya where he's trying to go. Look at it. Not the last wreck he's had because of the exact same thing. He looks for real estate where there isn't any. You can't do that in Nascar.

I'm not even going to respond about the Montoya wrecks anymore. He's wrecked in about 10-15 races busch/cup combined. If you need proof read what i've answered. I've given numerous times and circumstances when he's been in a wreck, but you keep disputing my theories.

can the thread creator please edit the title of this thread to "The Official I'm An Idiot Thread"?

thanks.

The only person in this thread that's an idiot is Montoya himself. What excuse were you making for him over the cameraman incident?

It's my bash JPM thread. You should just let me get all of my bashing out in this thread, instead of taking up for your little buddy Juan.

and people called me an Earnhardt hater because I had the gall to mention that Sr. once created his own debris caution and that Jr. is more than the #8 and Budweiser.

Your hatred of JPM is almost as irrational as Code Pink's hatred of the President.

I hate Montoya because he's crazy. He actually thinks he's good, but he doesn't realize that he either wrecks each week or runs 30th.

I'm sure he realizes that since he's the one doing the driving. But, was Tony Stewart any different when he was a rookie? His on track and off track antics have gotten him into a lot of trouble in the past.

Tony's won championships, JPM has done nothing except wreck each week. And before you go telling about how he's just a rookie remember he's been driving for a long time. He continues to make the same stupid mistakes and he doesn't learn.
