The Bash Juan Montoya Thread!!!

that article hardly proves that all the other drivers hate him. only Pruett came out of that with a little less respect for JPM, but a lack of respect isn't the same as hate.

I guess this also proves how tough Nascar is. I mean JPM dominated in the open wheel series, but in Nascar is nothing. So everyone that says that Nascar isn't the toughest auto racing league then they're terrible wrong.

Yeah, international fans like him, but us real Nascar fans hate him, his attitude and everything about him. I may gain some respect once he wins a race.

real nascar fans, eh? like I said, there is something more sinister behind your hatred of JPM and "real nascar fans" sounds like a veiled reference to an all-white, southern heritage, good ol' boy network.

He has more wins than Dale Jr., Greg Biffle, Clint Bowyer, Mark Martin, Bobby Labonte, Ryan Newman, etc. He's the top rookie with 1 win, 3 top 5's and 4 top 10's.

Hardly "nothing" in his first year.

I would love for JPM to have raced back when it was actually racing. He would have gotten beat up every week. No driver from back in the good ole days would have put up with him. Like i say, I can't wait till he messes with the wrong person.

When did he win a race. Oh, you mean a road course, where he's grown up racing. He had to win that race, he would have been the biggest failure ever if he hadn't. Also, he had to win that on fuel mileage. He had a 10th-15th car at best at Sonoma. And the Mexico race pretty much shows how much concern he has for others. There's a difference between being over aggressive and being an idiot. And JPM has made the transition.

ESPNs already covering Juan 24/7. Maybe he'll blow up so we can actually watch a race instead of a Juan Montoya lovefest.
