Assuming he fits the same mold as guys like Chris Leak or Pat White...Maybe with a bigger arm than Leak but a little slower than White...Regardless, the thing those two have in common? They won games. 69-20 combined, 6-2 in bowl games.

Chris Leak was a pro style QB coming out of HS with monster passing numbers breaking national records at the time and was compared to Donnovan Mcnabb. How can you say he was in the same mold as Pat White???

Pat White is a spread QB, Chris Leak was not and that's why his numbers went down in CUM's offense..he wasn't meant for that offense. I repeat..Leak was a pro-style QB...why do so many people get this wrong? He did not resemble Brunetti is any form or fashion as a HS QB. He was more of a Barkely type of QB without the pro potential, though.

It's because Chris Leak is black. All black QBs are dual threat like Randall Cunningham/Warren Moon/Michael Vick/Vince Young

I said Brunetti had both Pat White and Chris Leak attributes. Which, I believe he does.

i really dont want to speculate on who the "big fish" is because i really have no reason to believe that the rumor is even based on any facts

but, if we get a receiver class of ambles plus 2-3 of the following; milton, prater, cobbs, woods, phillips, or mccay and add those to some of the playmakers from the last class, we could make a guy like lamaison or bray or newton or brunetti look like a pretty big fish when theyre throwing to them

true plus whe have bryce brown oku and nuke and im sure jones and moore will be back not to mention brandon warren who is arguably the most athletic te in the sec so far its looking ok i guess

if you are disappointed by this, its pretty much your fault

you have been writing all of these posts about how you think it is heaps or barkley etc, when there was no proof that there was a "whale"

lets just be happy that a big time receiver like ambles came here without a big name QB and hope that lamaison turns out to be better than we expect

But X also said beware of the rumors of a big 5* QB or transfer committing/signing....I don't think that X will break any news of an impending big QB commitment (maybe a guy like Bray or something, but not a big one)....but we'll see.
