I could have said that sniffing someone's jock for recruiting information did not a "credible source" make. Nor does that make you somehow more special, except in "jock-sniffing", of course. And even then, how many people are you really competing with in those events, anyway?

Had someone else made the glaring mistake you made in stating "Book it!" for JS to UT, you'd never let them forget it, using it as the source for an ad hominem attack with each subsequent post they made. Then, had they dared tried to defend themselves by arguing or attempting to excuse it (you knowk, as you are doing......right.......now........hypocrite), it'd be even worse. You're like a bully with no muscles. Or intelligence. Or potential.

I merely pointed out what everyone else seems to believe, and what you likely sense to be true but cannot quite admit - that your "book it" on JS was not only in error, but inexcusably so, and effectively erased a hundred other predictions which may have proven true in the past.

Luckily for us all, it was Eric who was recently named, "Recruiting Coordinator" for VN (and congratulations for that, Eric), and not you. It's hard enough to escape Jimmy Hyams on the radio, without feeling as if his twin is lurking around here, as well.

Now, I'm going to go to Eastbay and cancel that Scroggins jersey I ordered a few weeks back. Instead, I'll re-roder one that has the "#1" with the last name of, "Book it!".

You're mistaking me for someone who gives a damn about what people think about me or my opinions, friend. I'm not competing with anyone on here for anything and I simply relay my opinions. Take them or leave them. Some appreciate it. Some do not. Entirely your prerogative.

My initial post to Jaytrain was meant in the same tone that his "prediction" of Scroggins was. I don't take him serious and I wouldn't expect anyone else around here to either.

The only think that would surprise me a little if it were Cam Newton, is that we were apparently going to evaluate him first, based on what he does this season at the Juco. I'm not sure why they would go ahead and announce today before they have really got a chance to see him in action. However, maybe they have evaluated him from previous film and even watched him workout recently and have seen enough.

I just hope there is an announcement today and this is not all rumor.

FYI: Lets all remember that Kiffin has stated earlier that when he was still at Southern Cal, he was the first coach to offer Barkley a scholarship. That was when he was freshman in High School. Also they have a very close relationship with one another, so you never know. He may just be Barkley!

I'm not sure that the coaches really know either. I think it's people telling them what they want to here, just like the other way around. We will see, but if there is any legs to this whole thing I will be surprised.

It's Bray. there's nobody else on our radar. Cam Newton: everybody knows about that one and CLK isn't going in that direction. Brunetti is going to WV where he belongs
