The Blind Side movie (merged)

Really don't see how people who follow SEC football couldn't know about Michael Oher. I mean, they've only done more stories on that guy over the last 3-4 years than anybody outside of Tim Tebow...

Several things I noticed in the trailer.

Of course hollywood will glam it up a little bit, but I have already seen at least 5 things in those 2 trailers that were inaccurate from the real story.

If you have seen the Tuohy's, you would know that Bullock and McGraw are a little stretch of the imagination. Maybe just the opposite for the daughter.

Someone mentioned that Oher was just another player Fulmer let get away. You should probably realize that Mr. Tuohy was a former Basketball player at Ole Miss and is still today a prominent Ole Miss booster. He was always going there, just as Greg Hardy was delivered to the Rebels.

Why are people saying that? I thought it looked like a good movie.

It looks like a good quality movie that's trying to send a good message to the younger generation. Although, they'll probably won't pay attention to this movie and will be in the next theater watching the over blown apocalyptic dud 2012 movie.

I'm sorry that I had to post this thread but I couldn't find anything on this.

Did coach CEO recruit Michael Oher to Ole Miss? If so, that's a hell of a recruiting tool!

I read the Blind Side. (Two-word review: don't bother.) My takeaway was that Oher's adoptive family would have pushed him to Mississippi if Daffy Duck had been the coach there.

Lately it has to be a gay/immigrant/racist turned good/women power movie to get the big reviews anyway.

I saw the commercial and my reaction was "That movie is the only work Fulmer will have for awhile."

I actually thought the book was pretty good. It gave pretty good insight into recruiting, but not as much as "Meat Market".

I'm a Jag fan and I really wanted us to draft Oher, but we took another OT.

Fulmer, Orgeron, and Saban are all in the movie, right?

Also, I think Tim McGraw is playing Ohers adoptive dad.
