The Blind Side movie (merged)

Absolutely loved this movie. Had just enough sports in it and was a very heart warming movie. Found myself smiling most of the time and wondering why more people don't take it upon themselves who can to do what they did. Absolutely an amazing story.

Just saw it and loved it. I was teary eyed through most of the beginning but the movie was also funny and entertaining.

Good Movie, I just watched it in the dollar theater and saw someone post something in the forums. Go see it. It was funny when all the schools were watching the practice and CPF came they all became discouraged. I thought it was funny and I wish that was true. But yeah I don't care what anyone says if the rich family did this for the wrong intentions to help support Ol Piss or w/e, this was one less kid saved from drugs, gang bangs, and shootings. Wither they were planning it or not it saved the life of one and maybe a lot more.

Wish I rented now to see what the extra clips and stuff now.

I am just now getting to see it. I bought it yesterday and went home and watched it and had a question. Did Tennessee turn in Ole Miss? Or was that all just made up?

I watched this last night. All I have too say is that is one ****ty movie and there is no way in hell Bullock should have won an award for that average performance. It is amazing what white liberal guilt can do.

lol wow....

Just finished it about an hour ago, Bullock was great, was the kid that played Oher and the little kid

Really good movie

Y'all crack me up thinking you know what it takes to portray a southern woman. I'm willing to bet not a one of you who are insulting her have a clue.

No, living in Tennessee my entire life, I've never had a run in with a southern woman.

The other thing I couldn't get out of my mind during that movie, is how Jesse James is an idiot

Thought I was going to get to watch a football movie, turns out I got hoodwinked into a chick flick.

It was an average movie with average acting.

His personal tragedies were what made the movie compelling, it certainly wasn't the shoddy acting or sub-par script.

Plenty of eye-rolls from this movie.

When the little kid ( SJ, I believe ) was at the table with Michael teaching him plays, sounding like an NFL vet or when she goes to the bad side of Memphis and gets hard with a gang of gun carrying thugs...I mean really?

It was a decent movie...whoever was up for the best actress award ( didn't watch, no clue ) should be pissed, all of them, her performance was average at best, classic Bullock.

I know this has probably been discussed before, but I saw The Blind Side for the first time yesterday. I was just curious as to what you highbrows thought of Phil's performance.

Are you serious?

He needs to stay away from acting, the movie has its on thread.

loved the movie. The role ALL of the coaches played was themselfs which suited Fulmer perfectly.

Small world. I saw it last night for the first time too. Phil's acting made me sort of cringe. I was embarrassed for him. Kind of reminded me of some of his coaching efforts the last few years.

I actually think Phil has a pretty good on-screen persona. I think he's excelled at his analyst role. I certainly don't think he's been pushing to get a coaching job. He must like it.

Don't kid yourself. He openly campaigned for at least the Clemson and Notre Dame jobs, and I believe Louisville and Kansas as well.
