The Braves Thread

Having now watched the play a dozen times, he actually threw the ball where it needed to go. You could say Ty Johnson over the middle moves the chains but they’re moving in opposite directions of each other. At no point is Shakir getting that first down.

Allen is 1 of 2 guys in the league that make Mahomes seem touchable even for a moment but yeah he slaw. Pesky rule they implemented where one team does have to lose.

Mahomes > Josh
Spags > McD
Reid > Brady

Accurate portrayal of those last two relationships would take me to the character limit and I don't want to crash the Poobah's site.

By the time a back foot prayer reaches shakir he’s getting steamrolled by about 4-5 guys in red

The craziest thing about watching this back is the OL

The chiefs only brought 5. Both guards never touched a soul and the RT got scorched.

It was terrible play design, terrible OL execution, only made possible to live thanks to Josh Allen being an alien, and then terrible execution to make the catch

Shakir is 15 yards shy of the first down, still inside the tackle box and has a probability of converting at pretty close to 0 when Josh would have had to throw him the ball

If Allen does hit the swing pass and Shakir can't shake the LB that rotated over, Allen would get drug through the coals for not throwing it past the sticks on 4th down.

One of my favorite sports factoids of all time is that outside of his 2 SB runs (which ended in him defeating Brady/Belichick Pats both times), Eli didn't win a single playoff game.
Looking forward to his Hall of Fame speech.

I carried a lot of water for him in here and was roasted for doing so, so yes it’s going to be oh so sweet.
