This is so stupid. I don't want to waste anymore than 30" on this incredibly self-evident notion....there are violent protests and non-violent protests. To say otherwise is completely idiotic and here you go again wanting people to frame events using very specific language that appeases your delicate sensibilities, even though it's accurate to call violent people protesters (if they are in fact using violence as a protest).
Jesus Christ. My issue here is simple. One side openly embraced violence. Supported bail funds, stated protests do not have to be peaceful, and that riots are the voice of the voiceless. While also claiming silence is somehow violence.
They 100% downplayed and excused the violence. The right openly opposed right wing political violence.
You pivoted the point. OP had literally nothing to do with any side openly embracing violence. If you had said they claimed "silence is violence" in OP, I wouldn't have said anything to that. You were making fun of talking points that either don't really exist in any meaningful way in the first place, or are actually a somewhat reasonable point to make.
Cancel culture doesn’t exist, is one of my favorite types of gas lighting. Up there with “most(ly) peaceful” riots, and “Antifa is an ideology, not a group”
Huff I already showed you a clip of the president saying antifa is just an ideology.
Yes, focusing on how “mostly peaceful” the riots were was a way of gas lighting the violence.
You’re apparently claiming I’m making a bunch of false statements here. So what have I yet to prove you wrong on (antifa proven, mostly peaceful I guess we can move on from because we are in circles now)?
Are you really claiming the left doesn’t gas light cancel culture? “Cancel culture doesn’t exist” that’s not a statement you can find numerous individuals making?
I'm not claiming you are making a bunch of false statements. I was pretty sure nobody was dumb enough to say "ANTIFA is not a group" which is why I probed. Turns out I was right. I don't think you were trying to lie or misrepresent but the thing you claimed was way dumber than the thing that was actually said.
You said people say cancel culture doesn't exist. Something that was news to me and I have yet to see anybody support that. I'm not sure that this was a false statement but it kinda seems like it.
You don't "gaslight violence", you gaslight people. They weren't saying "mostly peaceful" to gaslight anybody. They were saying it because they are biased to the left and also because it's TRUE.

Turns out you were right? At this point you’re blatantly lying. I sent you a video of Joe Biden saying exactly that. “Antifa is not a group, it’s an ideology”.
edit: to be completely fair he said it wasn’t an organization, it was an ideology but that has the same meaning in this context
damn, I went over this in detail. If he said "group" it would be totally stupid because of course they are a group. They're not really an organization. At the very least it's debatable, whereas their being a group is not debatable. If you had the quote right from the start, I wouldn't have been incredulous that somebody said it.
So was Jan 6th mostly a peaceful protest? I don't remember it being reported that way.
Just absolutely stupid.
I think that they may have hurt people had they not been evacuated and protected by armed officers. The funny part about Jan 6 is that there's no list of stuff (other than glass doors) being broken, bent, destroyed, defaced, burned, ... We heard Pelosi's laptop was stolen - no TVs hauled away. Since there's been no word on the laptop, that's probably either to protect Pelosi for a security breech or it never happened - who knows. All the deaths caused by "insurrectionists" never happened. Congressional operations resumed shortly after. So the big deal was the press as usual and their plethora of BS stories. Now all summer long there were plenty of killings, muggings, burnings, thefts, etc, but those because of the originators weren't insurrectionist or terrorist - just exuberant demonstrations mostly by people claiming some lives are more important than others.
People are telling me I shouldn’t say anything, I’m going to say something about this. So there’s this picture that’s been resurfaced of me wearing a jacket with a Confederate flag on it. That jacket was given to me by my ex. His dad actually gave it to me. I had no idea the weight that the Confederate flag held whenever I was wearing it. I just wore it for that one night.
I didn’t even pay attention to that. That’s ignorance. That's ignorant of me not to pay attention to the Confederate flag. Even more ignorant of me to not even know how harmful that is to people. So, like yeah, I royally f---ed up wearing that. I am so f---ing sorry. I’m disgusted with myself. I’m embarrassed. It doesn’t even matter how I feel, I’m just so f---ing sorry because that is not what I stand for, that is not what I’m about and I’m really mad that I wore it.
I've been an ignorant, self-absorbed sack of s--- for most of my life, so I genuinely had no idea what I was representing by wearing that jacket. I have no excuses other than ignorance, self-absorbed sack of s---. Disgusted with myself, I suck for that. I suck very badly for that. I know better now, did not know better then. What I can say now is be better than me, don’t look up to me. Look up to being better than me because I f---ing suck and I really f---ing hate myself for being ignorant. This is the time to change the world and make it better and I made it worse. So, I’m really, really sorry.
Bachelorette contestant wore one of Kanye’s designs from his Yeezy line with the confederate flag on it.
She’s hard core groveling trying to avoid being cancelled. It’s hard to read.
'Bachelor' star Demi Burnett apologizes over resurfaced photo of her wearing a Confederate flag jacket
Apology, forgiveness, and moving on are a thing of the past. Sad.
I was flipping through radio stations the other day and came across a local station asking listeners if they wanted them to continue playing Morgan Wallen's music. They said instead of banning his music, they would let fans decide. I don't even listen to country but found the poll and voted yes. **** cancel culture. "Yes" was winning by a landslide btw. The next station I flipped to was playing a Chris Brown song. Funny how he never got cancelled. Guess words now speak way louder than actions.
I'm glad Chris Brown got another chance. So should Wallen, Rosanne Barr, Paula Deen, Chris Harrison, etc. And again, it's the side doing the cancelling as Nick Cannon still hosts shows.
The incredible part is that the left part of the spectrum - the touch feely people - the "sensitive" people - the "inclusive" people, are actually the most intolerant and most blood thirsty people on the face of the planet.
It's not incredible- it's been that way all along. If you actually go back in history and look at the political moves of the communists, fascists, nazis, and even back to old despots and bad kings they all act the way the left is now. The boiled-down gameplan is seize communications and information, demonize and disarm the opponent, then eradicate (socially, financially, or physically- the difference means little). The only difference these days is that the dressing is different and the noise is louder. The end goal of the game is money and power.
We do have the benefit today of watching the useful idiots get cannibalized though. See very recent phenomena like the GME manipulation and Biden admin response, the capitulation to pharma within days of Biden taking office, etc.
It's information control, and why the 'battle' for the media is so important. The part that I see as incredible is that these are the people who manage to be accepted as the humanitarians among us - the very people who are given credit for pointing out our societal "shortcomings". And almost nobody questions the real fact staring them in the face; it's amazing. No wonder the Hitlers and Marxists could march in and take over via political seduction of the masses. Divide and conquer.
