The Case FOR Tennessee

Kendall Rogers @KendallRogersPG · 14m

Wow. #TAMU was one of the last four teams in? #Aggies had a pretty strong resume for a bubble team.

Sucks that Tennessee missed out, but I was really worried my ODU Monarchs were about to get snubbed. They were far from a bubble team. Last bracket announced! Since you can't cheer on the Diamond Vols, cheer on my beloved Monarchs!

Great job by committee overall—I have zero major objections. Clemson in over UCF was the only one I missed, and it is perfectly defensible.

Of course it is...if you are an ACC homer

Don't go anywhere, got some good stuff coming a little later today and...

As soon as we find out where the guys are going for summer ball, we'll be updating that as well.

I'm hoping we don't shut completely down this summer as we have in the past...gonna try to keep it going. :dance2:

1. if florida is the #2 overall seed, they should be playing the 63rd best team in the tournament. they got a team that won over 40 games as their #4 seed. meanwhile miami, not given a national seed, is given bethune cookman with an rpi of 202. in fact, miami's regional is easier than florida's period.

2. the committee likes to do this stuff every year, but it's not right. just because florida and miami are really close to one another doesn't mean they should be paired up for a super regional. sec regular season champ and acc regular season champ should not be paired up in a super regional. don't know how miami is not a national seed but fsu and virginia are. miami won the damn league.

if schools out there can't afford to travel, don't field a damn team. if a school based on an s-curve should be playing in arizona, send them to arizona. if a school based on the s-curve should be in texas, send them to texas.

the committee does this every year with clemson-sc and several other matchups. it's not right.

I agree with a lot of what your saying, but it's not ALL about the schools affording to travel, but also the fans of the other teams participating in the regional to be able to drive...I guess.

I agree with you, Miami got the easier draw, no question.

Another example is rice, Texas, and Texas a&m in the same regional.

That's garbage

i am probably more pissed about the committee than you all.

florida got screwed.

Assuming all goes as planned, y'all might not want to face LSU again. I'd rather be facing TCU come first game in Omaha.

The regional issue is another story. I'm tired of UF-UM super's. Both schools and fanbases deserve the opportunity to face someone new and fresh. It makes for a boring matchup IMO.

I get your overall point, but disagree here...Texas/TAMU game is one even I can't wait to watch. I bet it sold out within minutes...this one is more than geography, lots of people want to see it.

You guys are the #2 seed, I get you don't like the pairings, seems like a lot of the talking heads don't like it either or are bored of it...I'd take it in a heart beat, I'd have given anything to back our way in and play whoever, so while I understand your point...at least yer in the F'n thing, how much sympathy do you expect to get here?
