Bingo

Against some teams 4 guard would work better, against others Maymon/Stokes is what's best.

It's called being versatile. Suggesting sitting Maymon in favor of Moore is one of the more asinine things I've seen, Maymon is gonna average a double double.

Nothing asinine at all in letting Maymon watch for a couple of minutes and come off the bench. Maybe it will release some anxiety ax he isn't playing well.

That's fine. I just don't want to do it for the whole year. I also think that taking him out of the starting line up after fighting back and not playing for a year+. Might discourage him.

Didn't make the grades. Pearl guy all the way an still wanted to be a Vol. Counzo looked past him at first so he committed to Louisville after juco and is playing there.

Wish we had him I watched him in person dominate Joe Jackson everytime they played

Ah. Thanks for the reminder.

Doh!

IMO playing Stokes and Maymon together provides balance for our offense . Those 2 on the inside, and McRae, and Barton knocking down the threes from the outside

I don't understand why Derek Reese never sees the floor. He is 6-8 and he can actually shoot the basketball. I guess his defense isn't good enough to play in Kevin O'neil's, sorry, Cuonzo Martins system.

When was the last time a Kevin O'neil coached team averaged 75 points per game?

I'm not sure if you've been paying attention, but outside shooting hasn't really been a problem thus far. We're shooting 44.4% from 3 (20-45) as a team.

Wasting your breath, my friend. It's obvious he hasn't been paying attention.

AJ Davis > Derek Reese.

This Reese infatuation has to stop. He is not a good shooter and hasn't shown any signs of a strong defensive prowess. Kid is 19-49 from the field and 10-31 from 3. We have many guards and forwards that are much better and less of a liability. He barely beats out Lopez and Campbell on the depth chart.

I'm not saying any of this to be mean or hateful, but people keep asking about it, and it EXTREMELY OBVIOUS why he isn't seeing the floor. I don't understand why there's so much confusion.

Positive things I took from a Citadel blowout:

1.Great to see movement on the offensive end, and not just one pass then clear out for one on one.
2. Stokes confidence at the free throw line. We are going to need somebody to step up at the end of games, and right now I would put him and Hubbs as my guys.(although McRae will probably see more attempts)
3. The intensity brought from the tip. In my mind their is no doubt thesed guys want to win bad. They just need to bring it like their pants are on fire from the tip and not once we're down 10-12.
4. Love love love Bartons shot, but Thompson is getting more confidence too. Excited as hell to see him for 3 more years.

His release is s l o w, he's too slow laterally to guard a perimeter player and not strong enough to defend the post. He seems like a good kid but it's not rocket surgery.

Maybe the real question is how you derive 'infatuation' from 2 or 3 posters wondering what's happened to the guy.
2 of which haven't posted since March.

iKrag is pulling the wanderers into his circle. Tell me that guy isn't infatuated. Go on.
