Not bashing the University, I like UT, being a UK fan, I hope it never happens,but figure it is a matter of time for Calipari.......when it happens, fire his arse imho.

The pride in all who have done it the right way for UT deserves the respect to keep the University of Tennessee to stand for winning....with honesty and integrity. Bruce Pearl isnt worth the baggage of whats next. Being a snitch and calling out others all the while he cheats and lies,then cheats again.....thank God Kiffin left, fire Bruce Pearl and Mike Hamilton.....start over.

If true:

The latest allegation of him committing a 'Saban bump' three days after the remorseful press conference should be reason enough for his firing.

Sorry Bruce, but you gotta go after this mess of your making.

If he's given a one year suspension, I don't see any scenario where you keep him on.

I think he's demonstrated that he can't be trusted. Shame, he had a pretty good gig going here. His poor recruiting is starting to catch up to him though.

I say "No" to firing Pearl. However; if he messed up even slightly in the future, then he will need to be fired immediately.
As far as Hamilton is concerned, he is not a good A.D. but he is one helluva a money raiser. I don't see him being fired, just based on the amount of money he is able to bring in to the University.

The NCAA needs to get serious about "Saban bumps." He's making a mockery out of the rules. Anybody else that does it needs to get nailed as well.

Okay, let's say that Pearl is fired!!! With us having all of these sanctions on us from the NCAA, what good coach will come to coach U.T.?
No good coach will come here, under these circumstances. We may get another
Wade Houston.
I think that Pearl is the best one to get us through these issues. He is already here
and he has proven that he can win....

I think people like to see other people suffer because it makes them feel better about their own pity parties. Viva la bbq de lyes!

So when the sanctions come out and Pearl is suspended for a year or two; and they lose some schollies and maybe post season tourney appearances - just how good do you think recruiting will be? How proud will you be of your team when they start losing more because they have no incentive to win at a high level and have less talent? The school/program are already the laughingstock of the country because we kept a head coach that cheated and lied before - and now we find out - after getting caught. Do you think parents of high profile players don't know about this?

You are entitled to your opinion and I understand the viewpoint. IMO by retaining him we are heading down a path that is leading to where we have been before or worse.

I don't think people understand that Pearl will probably get the sanctions, not the program.

The guy lied to the NCAA and, worse, called a recruit up and encouraged him to lie to the NCAA too. The guy had a weepy apologetic press conference and then went out and committed another violation four days later. Of course we should fire him.

I don't care if Vol basketball goes right back in the toilet. I care a lot more about the integrity of my alma mater than I do winning games.
