I'm a UT fan to the death. When Bruce leaves I will not follow his career all that close. But while he is here I'll support him until it is perfectly clear that he needs to go.

. Way to sum up the thoughts of those who think a change is justified. You did leave out the likelihood of NCAA sanctions. If you think this mess is all about a bbq and one little lie, then you may need to read the letter UT sent our coach. No coach is worth probation. Period. You are just a better fan than I am though. I watched the majority of Wade coached games because I am a bad fan who has unrealistic expectations. Thanks for the lesson.

They should have probably already let him go. After the NCAA gets done laying the wood to Pearl and the program, standing behind him will look even more foolish. More bad moves from the AD's office. Shouldn't be surprised though they're on a roll as far as bad moves go.

As much as i love Pearl's coaching and personality, and hate to see him gone, I would say that Hamilton is already looking for a new coach. I believe the NCAA is going to do all they can to make sure Pearl is gone.

I do agree with you that Pearl should not go based on results, my view that his firing is justified(not necc my desire) is based entirely on the NCAA mess. Not the bbq, or the initial lie, but the attempted cover up in which he involved others including parents of recruits. While I do not want a new coach, it is absolutely justified based on what we know, and we don't even know all there is yet.

They might have took a little easier on them if he where gone. Keeping him just assures the penalties will be stiff.

The very thought of Mike Hamilton making another coaching hire, well it's just scary.

Yeah,He was terrible when he took us to the elite eight "last fricking year"!!! Also awful when he took the Vols into the FedEx forum and beat the #1 Tigers gaining the Vols thier 1st ever in the history of the program #1 ranking! You need to go to bed your posts are nearly incoherant!!!!! And he was a complete moran when he went to Pitt and blasted the #2 Panthers this year, also looked awful winning the psnit, that lowly Nova team!!! #1 RPI #2 SOS!!! GROW UP!

But that Oklahoma State game,by god!!!

If you want to see Bruce go because of the pending NCAA thing, fine, I can see that. But cutting him loose because of the teams performance? No way. We just don't have the horses this year. There is not a single clutch performer on the team, and recruiting is the only way to solve that. We have been in every single game we have played. At some point the worm will turn and a little good luck will come our way.

Once all is revealed by the NCAA then I'm guessing I'll want him gone. I just have a bad feeling Bruce has more skeletons in his closet. But as of now I still support him.

2. Do not promise a kid from a low income family that if his family pays for him to come for one year, he will get a scholly but when the kids comes you find out that he is not that good then you do not give him a scholly. example [Daniel West]

Your right, we have been in every game almost,How many games have we lost by a pt or 2?and lost a few OT games. The little things is what makes good teams become great teams and were just not doing the little things. BUT we can. I wouldn't want to be the #1 seed playing this Tenn team in the 2nd rd...and you idiots calling for Pearl to go! Shut the h3ll up, It blows my mind at the morons around here. Look what he has done to TN BB in 6 yrs! How Many top 10 teams have we whipped, how many tourney trips in a row, been ranked #1 for a first time ever, bringing in McDonald AA every other yr and top 2-15 classes consistantly! Has a record vs the Big East like 7-2! You idiots have a short memory of TN BB past, pre-Pearl era.
