The Dallas Cowboys football circus thread

On twitter it says the cowboys were the first to contact abram elam.

Can't remember his name, but guy on Dallas XM radio is pretty intent that Dallas will sign DB from Oakland. Nmmandi or something like that.

I only say doubtful bc there are 5-6 other teams being talked about regularly for him....even 3 or so if he "cares more about the team being competitive

I've heard he wants to get into acting, if he wants exposure the cowboys are a no brainer.

San Francisco, Houston, Philly....all those and a few others would get him enough exposure

not to be taken the wrong way, but the guy's kind of an idiot if he's picking a future team based off acting opportunities later in life

I didn't say that's the only thing he was thinking about.

I never said you did....that was part of the intention in "not to be taken the wrong way"

They've reportedly reached a 4 yr 32mil deal with free. They are going after cullen Jenkins.

Just read this about the dumping of Roy Williams. Must have been really wanting him gone.
Williams will count $12.9 million against the 2011 salary cap -- more than the total charge had the Cowboys decided to keep him on the roster -- which is a strong statement from management about their low approval rating of the veteran despite a decent season in 2010.

I guess we're stuck with Barry Church, and answa(spelling) at safety. Going to get lit up this year.

From what I heard sensabaugh wants big money for some reason. He was terrible last year idk why he thinks deserves top dollar.

Really? I thought we gave him good money within the last couple years and I was puzzled. He's freaking terrible, and I don't want to re-sign him. Jenkins was absolutely awful last year too.

Sensabaugh doesn't deserve a big payday. Serviceable at best. I doubt we get Asomugha, but I could see us getting Huff from Oakland or Abram Elam. Secondary needs help bad. I really miss Darren Woodson.

Just saw that Nate Clements was cut by the 9ers. Wonder if Jerrah will take a shot on him. Pretty solid CB.

I'd tell Sensabaugh to go screw himself if he wants more money. He didn't do crap last year. They better get atleast two legit d-linemen or they are screwed.

It's down to the jets and cowboys for nnamdi. I would like to have him, but I'd rather get help at safety, dl, ol.

Agreed. I'd rather not have the Cowboys get stuck under a ridiculous contract for a CB, regardless of the CB's skills.
