The Dallas Cowboys football circus thread

Wonder who JJ will go after for backup QB duties after Moore broke his leg yesterday? I think either Foles, Yates, or trade for Glennon for the Bucs. I wouldn't mind allowing Showers a chance to be a backup.

He's been here in the system for 2 years now. Why not let him show what he can do? I got a feeling Romo just isn't going to stay healthy.

I would go with Dak Prescott as the back up

I'd love to see Showers get an opportunity.

Why couldn't anybody else see that Dak Prescott was the best qb in the draft? He's putting on a show!!!

Tony Romo has a broken bone in his back per the NFL Network.

Time for the Dak Prescott era to begin. He's going to be better anyway.

Dak Prescott was the steal of the 2016 draft -- sucks he is on a team I hate though - Romo should retire now, before he ends up in a wheelchair the rest of his life

I agree with ya. He needs to hang it up for good. I think he will do that too after this season whether he plays again or not.

He has to think about his future & walking right & being able to play with his kids & have a decent quality of life. The guy has been beat to death. It's time to give it up Romo whether you want to or not!

Romo could miss 6-10 weeks with a compression fracture of the L1 vertebra, though apparently the injury was said to not require surgery and Garrett declined to rule him out of the week 1 opener.
