The disney insanity continues

How is it fabricated? Do you have a child in schools being questioned? "But let's not act like there are very many teaching that in public schools either." There shouldn't be one.
It's fabricated because it's not some widespread issue. I know lots of other parents and have yet to meet one whose young child was exposed to anything inappropriate. This is made up red meat for the base

1. Making up stats while calling someone's arguments weak. Interesting approach.
2. Parent should have complete control of the rides of their children.
3. Do gay people exist? Can it be proven? What are schools teaching that is non-scientific?

1. Are you disagreeing that something very close to 100% of people believe in something nonscientic? Karma, horoscopes, something? Seems like a basic truth.

2. Rides of their children? I don’t understand.

3. Gay people exist? Cool. Did anyone claim they didn’t? My objection to this has never really been about if it was or wasn’t scientific, but rather his example was proclaiming others argued that. So I’m not sure what specifically that was regarding, but either way “parents teach non scientific things” isn’t an excuse for schools to do so.

It would be like saying “my mom taught me the wrong way to do a math problem” so it’s cool if the school teaches all math incorrectly

Made up red meat like, trust science, wear your mask, pay your fair share, us vs. them, voter suppression, my body my choice, pollution, free health care, free education etc.

These are red meat topics that are in the back pocket on rotation by the left.

I think that is really high. I don't have any particular superstitions that I believe in.

Read your post I commented about.

I have and always have been a human.

Your belief seems to stem from your lack of understanding regarding the beginning of life. I do not have the answers for you, but I differ in that I do not find in necessary to believe in the supernatural to explain it.

If you do not understand enough about the beginning of life to answer the simple question of where we came from, then how do you suppose I have a mis-understanding of it since I beleive in God and the Creation? You think people that have a God centered belief system are ignorant. Yet you have no answers for your belief system. You don't believe it necessary to beleive in supernatural to explain life, but yet you haven't explained life. The beginning of life is very clear in my belief system, and does not stem from ignorance. It stems from faith. Introduced to me by a father who spent 30 years as a scientist as a career. A christian who was also a scientist. hmm.

Yes just like that. Congrats, you're exactly like a Dem

Although some of those listed are real. I'll let you figure out which

I think a supernatural story has been invented for the purpose of explaining that which you do not understand. It has been used for all time for any natural phenomena that science has yet to explain. However, I am not compelled to do that. I am comfortable with the answer of "I don't know."

except I'm not. You said fabricated story as only red meat that it had no validity.
It didn't have enough validity that it should be a political issue and definitely didn't require legislation.

Doing that makes you no o different that what you claim to hate

I’m sure if we evaluated every belief of yours, at least one of them would lack scientific basis. Ghosts, Bigfoot, the jersey devil, climate alarmism,

If you really don’t have any non scientific beliefs you represent probably the smallest minority on earth

Provide me the post number for the one you want me to read

Don't believe in the supernatural. You are just making up a stat.

Science has been around for how long? And not provided an inkling of a plausible answer yet?

The scrolls with it's supernatural story has been around how long? And, you can tie stories and references in said supernatural stories to historical findings and archaeological discoveries in the biblical lands ?

You have your reasons, and I get that. I have mine, and I get that. Doesn't really prove mine is out of ignorance when yours has provided no factual explanation. Your belief is in something with no answer or explanation whatsoever, yet totally not out of ignorance.

Really? What about people that have lost their jobs because they weren't riding the woke employer boat? Maybe they're not forcing them to believe their way, but if they dont......

This is a really crappy part of what the internet has brought us. Everyone has a platform and feels the need to espouse their opinion. I have found that espousing political and religious beliefs in an unsolicited manner for the general public to consume is not advisable.

This board is my "safe space" for the political and religious bs that I would never post in public.

Nearly every civilzation in the history of earth has had some sort of belief in a higher Creator, whatever their interpretation of that has been. Even the indigenous American Indian had that higher power belief well before they were introduced to the scrolls that provide that same supernatural story of a ultimate Creator.

Sure I am. But yet even from your personal experience you should be aware that you’re an insanely small minority. And supernatural was not the standard. Non scientific was.

If we add all the religions, horoscopes, aliens, Mother Nature, Wican’s, karma, etc we both accept that you’re part of a small minority right?

Both our positions are assumed out of ignorance. I am just willing to admit my ignorance.

Yet, you are espousing your beliefs. There's nothing wrong with that. We're not trading blows, and the worst you've done is call me ignorant for mine. I haven't called you ignorant, but that's minor. I have thick skin and understand you are not me, and I'm not you. I'm not trying to force you to believe what I believe, but I have no issue stating what I do believe.

I don't know.

Yeah you do. I made up the stat, sure. It's called an exaggeration, but at least be honest.

The data I'm finding shows around 7% are atheist. Obviously that doesn't include bigfoot, aliens, karma, medical nonsense, climate alarmism, etc.

Incredibly small minority.

Ignorance would be believing nothing. But, if I have a choice between a story that has historically discovered ties, and a man-made profession that offers nothing, then I choose Faith. It works for me. Science has done many good things for mankind, except prove the beginning of life. Yet, both man and women operate in such a way that can traced back to Geniesis, and still holds true. Science has yet disprove the story that God created every living thing on earth. and it has yet to provide the answers of what did. I will never have all of life's answers, but I have a good knowledge of why I choose Faith over all else.

Never even thought about it prior to this discussion. Not surprisingly, my daughter is very much like me. I tried to expose her to religion. We attended different churches. She went to youth groups. She told me she wanted to stop because she didn't feel like she fit in, but she loved singing in choir. She just questions everything and has since a young age.

In my edit I mentioned some data on that.

Ignorance is not knowing. You have faith. I am fine with not knowing. But at the end of the day you have faith... you do not have knowledge.

Also, there are no ties between history and the creation story found in the Bible
