Also the coolest memorabilia item I have of his isn’t any of the rookie cards even though they’re probably the most valuable.

The coolest thing is a Joe Morgan card (from 1965, not a rookie card) that’s got the stats on the back in Spanish because he bought the pack when he was stationed at the Panama Canal.

It’s really hard for me to suspend my disbelief that it’s nothing more than publicity stunts or virtue signaling when these types of things happen

Well she only gave up 1 ER in that game while 3 other pitchers on her team gave up at least 3 ER. She’s doing better than her teammates, at least for today.

He’s a baseball nut. He likes a ton of different players but he’s a closet Phillies guy.
He likes Harper, Arozarena, Yordan, Acuna, J-Rod...he’s all over the place, just a big fan of baseball.
Of course his favorite guys are Gilbert, Beck, Lipscomb, Dollander, etc.

My Juan Gonzales has the same error this card does. Granted no way I’d get a PSA10 rating so I’ll also never get 10 grand for it, but it’d probably fetch a few hundred at least

Get them sorted and send me pics and then I can suggest what to do with them. If I recommend any to be graded then you should do that. Outside of that penny sleeves and toploaders do the trick.
