Hockey is one of those sports that has seen huge series swings unlike the other major sports. There have been 4 teams overcome a 3-0 deficit. Never happened in the NBA. We all know the one and only time it happened in MLB. That overrated team up north that wants to talk about all those championships but hasn’t won anything of relevance in 15 years.

There are currently 7 MLB teams with 20+ road victories. The Chicago White Sox just earned their 20th victory overall. They won the game with 2 hits. Come on @chuckiepoo!

Nearly another high profile injury today. Aaron Judge got hit on the his hand by a fastball and had to come out of the game. X-rays are negative so the Yankees survived a scare.

My son collects baseball cards and in the Topps flagship packs, you can get a “homerun challenge” card of a particular player. If you correctly pick the date that you think that player will hit a homerun, Topps will send a special card of that player, with the print run numbered to the number of entrants that correctly predicted the date.
We always pick a date when that player is playing at Coors field and that strategy has worked out pretty well for him.

Last night proved why MLB is the best professional sport. The look on the 25 year old rookie that got called up by Yankees to replace Rizzo was priceless after he got his first base hit.

Looked like a kid in a candy store.
