Now that we are off to the final series, I can confess that I knew we would make it to the finals 3 months ago. Why, you ask? My kids are going to a week of Boy Scout camp for the first time this year. Got them all signed up a while ago, despite the wife’s resistance.

3 months ago I got curious and looked up the dates of the CWS final series, and low and behold I saw that 2 of the games overlap with their camp week. The moment I saw that I knew deep down that we’d be in the final series and I’d have to figure out how my kids can watch it from camp…
