Felt incredible and unforgettable to watch the Vols get the final 3 outs to win their first ever National Championship in College Baseball while inside the ShadowLake Texas Roadhouse.

While my score prediction of the Vols winning 5-4 wasn’t right because 6-5 so both Aggies and Vols scored 1 more run than my score prediction.

I watched every championship game Pat's Lady Vols won. I watched every second of the
Fiesta Bowl in 99 when football won it all. Tonight's win is right up there with any of them! It is Great to be A Tennessee Vol.

Would love to send a big shoutout to Chase Burns. Thank you for turning your back on this program and losing your last collegiate game in a regional on the road. Thank you for opening up a roster spot for an eventual national champion. Lastly, thank you for taking a huge step back as a starting pitcher last season. Without you taking that step back we would not be in this current position. Glad you got to experience this one from the couch and hopefully you enjoyed your 0-2 run in the NCAAT this year. And that goes for anyone else who thinks they are bigger than the team. The TEAM will always be bigger than any singular player.
