The Endzone Garden Thread

This is a lawn qwerstion, not garden, but hoping one of u fuggers can provide a recommendation from past experiences. I'm looking to overseed/reseed some bare space in my yard. What's the best seed you've had good success with? I'm leaning towards this seed at Lowe's....

I have at least 1 sprout of 4 types of peppers. Nothing from the Trinidad Viper or Red Carolina Reaper yet. Was a week yesterday.

My first question is sun, shade, mix, super shady ??? And what is the rest of the grass around?

For re-seeding and overseeding, I would go with a fescue blend to get the barespot covered. A blend will have several different varieties and heights of fescues to get a good quick covereage started. also make sure you scratch up the area real good so you can get the seed covered down about 1/4 inch.

We had this in our storage building. Old box spring. Was going to take it to the dump with a bunch of other junk this past weekend. Got to looking at it and told the wife that we were not junking this.

A little plastic, some staples and soil... voila! Little garden with 12 compartments:

I regularly use the box spring to grow ivy on retaining walls

Sun, I don't have very many shady spots. The rest is fescue.

You should be good with the K31 then. But, I personally would still shoose a fescue blend of several types just to get a full carpet coverage. A fescue blend (turf type) just gives better overall performance where if one is lacking, the other covers for it.

Anyone have experience with cordless battery powered edgers?

I'm looking for something to edge driveway/sidewalks with. Sick of using my gas string trimmer for this.

So…. I’m going to put a split rail or some similar fence along the retaining wall on the driveway that will double as the grape trellis. (Saturday).
I remain undecided on the Kiwi trellis.
