Could they pick one single power for Wells to have or are they just going to wing it every damn episode, maybe add another power to his list. Explains why they had to take a month long hiatus, because they were trying to figure out WTF they were going to do with Wells' character.
I went back and re-watched it and I think most if not all of it will be changed back after next week.
He ended up going back in time so he can now try and keep the tsunami from happening.
What are you talking about? Everything he did was Speed Force based powers from the comics.
Damn.... You're right. All that build up for nothing.
I guess Barry will retain all his memories from it though. He'll know Iris lives him and that there is something fishy with Wells.
He runs fast/vibrates, but then they throw in the visual clone thing. I'm just generally not happy with how they've handled his character throughout the series.
The big loss will be that nobody will know who Harrison Wells really is now. Barry kept blowing off any chance of hearing about it.
THE FLASH Cast Sings FIREFLY Theme Song A Capella
The Flash star Grant Gustin showed off his pipes on seven episodes of Glee, but now his current co-stars are getting their time in the spotlight. In this video, Jesse L. Martin, Carlos Valdes, and Rick Cosnett sing an a capella version of "The Ballad of Serenity," the theme song from Joss Whedon's beloved TV series Firefly. Why? The trio is apparently working on a short film called The Letter Carrier and were trying to raise funds on Kickstarter when Whedon himself came in and donated enough to allow them to reach their goal, so they decided to sing this song as a way of saying thank you. It makes sense, considering the plot of their short film relies heavily on music:
A mother hides her family from slavery in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The children have grown up with a tale of a man known as The Letter Carrier. As the legend goes, he roams the mountains looking for children to sell as slaves. Painted against this historical backdrop, it is a raw, mysterious, and interpretive fable. Told through a cappella song, using original folk music, spirituals and a score using only natural sounds.
Enough backstory: here's what you want to see.

I hated this episode.
I wouldn't go that far but after last weeks it was awfully disappointing. The whole Iris thing was just annoying as it has been the whole season. The cop out at the end was just terrible. The stand off with Cold didn't come across as very plausible either. The best part was name dropping the Rogues Gallery.
Sounds like you hated it.
Hate might be a little strong, but I was very disappointed. I thought last week was brilliant, possibly the best episode of the year. Then to basically throw that away for what I felt was the worst episode of the year was a giant letdown for me. You pretty much nailed my thoughts on it. It felt like a huge reach all around. The Rogues Gallery name drop was nice, other than that...Meh
Snart's sister's gun bothered me too. Was she spraying gold out of it?
Barry telling Joe he now suspects Wells was at least a nice story progression.
Now that was more like it. Excellent episode. I chuckled pretty hard at the "I am your father" line.
Poor Coug and the Wells twist.
