The Flash (CW)

First, I said it wasn't the right time to introduce Wally yet. Second, they're going to have to alter his origin as so far, Iris has been presented as an only child. If there was another sibling, you'd think they would have been mentioned by now. My guess is they'll alter his story to make him a cousin, if they ever introduce him. Third, I was an uncle at twelve, so your last point makes no sense whatsoever. Fourth, you need a hug.

Fair enough arguments, I just don't see it happening in the foreseeable future. Come here old man and give us a squij!

You do know how the Aunt/Uncle thing works right? I have an Uncle that's 3 years younger than me, one that's the same age, and an Aunt and an Uncle just a few years older than me, but my grandpa did have 14 kids sooo

Hey look, I don't need to hear about how your family tree resembles Charlie Brown's Christmas tree. :)

That ending was awesome. Looking forward to Grodd.

You are so gonna regret this post. You gonna look so dumb!

I came here to watch The Flash, not the Planet Of The Apes, just sayin'.

Solid episode. I like how he used his vibration powers to unlock to car door at the beginning. Only a matter of time until he vibrates through something.

I had forgotten they had cast Linda Park. Making her a love interest for Barry leads me to believe Wally won't be making an appearance. Also seemed like they are trying to build up Caitlin as a love interest for Barry as well.

Looking forward to Grodd.

I'm pretty sure Kaitlyn snow isn't going to be killer frost in this unless it's along time for now.

Not so sure. Seemed like a bit of foreshadowing when she started talking about Ronnie being dead. If she develops a crush on Barry only to be put in the friend zone, with the Firestorm story still developing, I could see a breaking point. The writers are definitely planting seeds here and there for various things to come, it's just a question of when they go back to those seeds. I think they've done a good job with this series, at least up to this point.

Weezer: The authority on all things comic book related.

Don't see how she becomes anything without the particle accelerator.

Wild guess, she tries to use Captain Cold's gun on Firestorm. It could happen.

Seeds the writers have planted but yet to cultivate, most of the names of those who "died" when the particle accelerator exploded. Most of those names correlate to the secret identities of DC superheroes. Most intriguing to me, Ralph Dibny, aka the Elongated Man.

Also, I'm still not convinced Wells is the Reverse-Flash. I still think it's possible he's Metron. Maybe he's posed as the Reverse-Flash to further his goals?

Other corresponding heroes among the dead: I'm sure I'll forget someone, but those I remember are Fire, Atom-Smasher, Damage, and Amazing Man.

I'm definitely convinced he's not Reverse Flash. After the episode two weeks ago we know he really does have some kind of condition and isn't completely faking having to use the wheelchair. Also, RF's streak is yellow and after seeing that Well's streak is red he's definitely not RF.

I obviously haven't read the comic and don't spoil it for me but are we sure that Barry's father is really his biological father?

Do you want an answer to that question or not? I mean, what exactly do you consider spoiling it for you? I can give you a yes or no answer, but would that be spoiling it for you?

Actually that was lightning not a streak that was red when Wells ran, which is what RF produces. Barry produces yellow lightning. So if anything that points more towards him being RF.

I'm still leaning toward him being Eobard Thawne aka Professor Zoom. Zoom didn't have super speed he produced it with a suit. IIRC Which explain why his powers lesson from time to time, remember the thing on RF suit in his "closet"? That's where he gets his juice so to speak.

Wells computer is known as Gideon. Gideon is the name of a New God. Metron is a New God. It's enough to make me question.

If you were to tell me something like, "we're not completely sure at this time", then I'll take it. :)

Put down the liquor bottle Jerry!

Wells produces a red streak/lightning and Barry most assuredly produces a red streak and NOT a yellow one.

That's the cool thing about Dr Wells, they've given hints in several directions. What you just mentioned, plus his wheelchair could be a slight nod to Metrons Mobius chair. The chest piece that possibly is giving Wells his powers similar to Zoom. But he has a Flash ring so possibly future Barry or Bart Allen and the chest piece is stabilizing his powers. A lot of options in play still.

People never understand this. The Flash produces yellow lightning, with a red blur because of the suit. RF produces red lightning and a yellow blur when he has the suit on. Cisco even said it in the one episode when he named him Reverse Flash. He said Barry has a red suit and yellow lightning, the other guy had a yellow suit and red lightning...hence Reverse Flash.

Plus its really obvious that's yellow lightning behind the Flash in that pic. Unless you are color blind. Lol

This is correct. Flash appears as a red blur with yellow lightning. The primary color of his suit is red, which is why people see it as a red blur. The yellow highlights in the suit produce the lightning effect. RF is the exact opposite because his suit is the exact opposite.
