The Foreign Trade Thread

Lmao. You’re proving my point. Illiterate non intellectual. I sit at home and make calls to the guys you buy from autozone, OR, NAPA, Lowe’s, Walmart and do deals then forward orders. Idiot.

I don’t patronize any of those vendors especially Walmart. I figured you for a lazy do nothing computer nerd. 👍

I call BS on this, tariffs haven’t even been in play that long. Fiscal mismanagement more likely
It would help if they had anything decent to sell other than a truck. The Taurus is about 100 years old. Mustang, limited market. Focus, Fiesta, Fusion all long in the tooth. Nobody wants a Lincoln, and it probably needs to join Mercury in the graveyard.

Excellent point, GM is in the same boat. I’m very happy with my older es350

It seems no amount of facts, evidence, or economic wisdom is going to convince you that your position on trade is wrong.

You're saying the tariffs couldn't have cost Ford $1B in the last year? Ford had $156B in costs in 2018. How clueless do you have to be about business and economics to think a year of tariff hikes on inputs couldn't cost them $1B. That's not even 1% of their costs.

Nope. There are tariffs because Tariff Man likes tariffs.

We already negotiated an agreement with Canada and the tariffs are still there.

Congress hasn’t ratified the agreement and probably won’t with the dims in the house
