I reluctantly went over there to see what they were saying and I got some laughs out of how bad they are freaking out. The guy that posted that did seem to have the E-cred from most of the posters over there.so multiple threads on wearesc saying the sanctions are coming today. one poster says it's a 2 year postseason ban. many others saying sanctions are worse than expected. we shall see i suppose.
It's what he should have done. Assuming you're right about Floyd's innocence, USC basketball taking the fall for football when they didn't do anything wrong is disgraceful and insulting to Floyd.KO told Andy Katz yesterday that he didn't anticipate any further penalties against the basketball program. I guess Tim Floyd telling the 'AA he would sue their ass into oblivion if they made a finding that Louis Johnson's ridiculous claims were true made an impact on the COI.
Was he really stupid enough to think that someone that isn't guilty is just going to take the rap for football and basketball? If USC football isn't punished, then Floyd would be the only one that looks bad if he didn't say anything. Can't imagine anyone who actually cares about their self image going quietly. That's the peril of working for an imbecile like Mike Garrett.
We'll see what level of oversight you're for when the 'AA starts investigating UT's relationship with A3.Say what you want about the NCAA's right to enforce. It's ridiculous that USC can get away with such lax oversight. Everyone bends the rules but when you start squinting just to provide the illusion you don't see bribery occuring in your program that's no longer bending. Chalk up another day to rumored sanctions never delivered.

It's really funny to see how ignorant most of the "USC" fans are on the espn board. (In parentheses because most of the guys there are bandwagon fans.)
