They'll probably impose some light sanctions on USC when another major sports story breaks where they can avoid a lot of media coverage.Yeah, something is definitely wrong. They're probably hoping that it just won't be brought up again in the media and that they can just leave it in limbo.
You are probably right. The NCAA is waiting till sunday in hopes that TW wins the Masters and while the world is talking about that they will slip in the 2 year probation on USC along with the loss of 3 schollys.They'll probably impose some light sanctions on USC when another major sports story breaks where they can avoid a lot of media coverage.
The only other possibility is due to the enormity of the case and the exogenous legal proceedings this will play out longer than usual.
