We should just make it a tradition along with the cigs. Just tear them down every Bama win regardless or how frequent it is. It’s doesn’t just have to be our GP, we can take theirs too, preferably while taking selfies and smoking cigs. We just need to own the fact that we like to burn and destroy stuff.I said it in another thread, but remember, for all the young people out there in the stadium, most have grown up NEVER seeing Tennessee beat Alabama until 2022. For some of us, seeing us beat the Tide isn't entirely unfamiliar, but for them, this beating Alabama thing has that new car smell. Imagine that. Going your whole life, as far as you can remember, and you never ever beat those damn Bammers.
So I say cut 'em some slack. Whether they're students from elsewhere or lifelong Tennesseans, they've had to hear every older person around them in east Tennessee go on and on about how Tennessee-Alabama is the biggest event in the state -- and it was something that Tennessee never won. They've spent years and years always being the losers in this supposed "big rivalry," and have had to hear it from ever Bammer and every neutral fan since before the first iPhone was released.
Now they're winning. The goalposts coming down again is a bit goofy, I agree, but I say let 'em have this. Hopefully this will be it, and from now on beating Alabama will be nothing special - as it should be.

I wouldn’t describe it as rushing the field. My eyes were filled with excitement and maybe I missed it but it appeared to me it was more of making their way to the field in a contained fashion. When I called family after the game they said that the Tex/Uga game came on shortly after the end of our game.Anyone have a single video of the moment we rush the field? It's so confusing I watched a post game video of everyone still in the stands patting players helmets and yet we rushed? Obviously we did i see plenty of us already on field
I thinks it's embarrassing this time around.I said it in another thread, but remember, for all the young people out there in the stadium, most have grown up NEVER seeing Tennessee beat Alabama until 2022.
