Good to see the le Tigre is back! What a finishing 18, and you just had that feeling that he was going to win it on the last. Now, if the weather would just cooperate so I can shake the rust off my swing...

He was amazing on the last 4. O'Hair was awful over his last 27 to make it even remotely possible. Dude was 10 under at one point Saturday.

anyone who wants to take Tiger in two weeks can, I'll take Z Johnson. He's just solid and his game is built for how Augusta is now.

That doesn't explain Saturday.

i don't think it's fair to say that Tiger won it as much as O'Hair lost it. however, i don't think Tiger missed from inside 6 feet all weekend which is an amazing feet in itself.

i agree.

i thought Paddy played well today also. if he can get his putter going, and we had Phil coming off two wins, plus Tiger being Tiger, the Masters is shaping up like it could be an amazing weekend.

bpv, i assume you'll being going?

. . . and Tiger wet the bed on 17 and 18 on Saturday. His second shot at 18 on Saturday was one of the dumber things you'll ever see Tiger attempt.

That's fair. SO still shot a giant number over the final 27.

Tiger is still not all the way back, but it was good to see him hitting fairways and controlling the irons a "little" better today. Who actually doubted he would make the putt, though? I guess bpv will have to wait a little longer on him missing them. He was clutch yet again today.

I do feel for Sean, though. With all he has been through, you would like to see good things happen to him. I hope his confidence isn't ruined, and he manages to actually pull some confidence from the way he battled it today. He definitely didn't have his best stuff from the first tee, but he grinded it out. He lost it more than Tiger won it, though.

he had several shots that left me wondering what he was thinking.

but those two bunker shots on the lip he made today were nothing short of spectacular.

i'd probably still be trying to play out of that trap on 17.

I can't believe that it plugged in the bunker. I know Tiger hits it high, but I don't think I've ever seen a 4 iron approach end up plugged like that.
