I was in the same boat on technology until a month ago. Hit a TM R510 TP with Speeder 757x forfreakingever, but got the R7 limited TP with the Rombax 75x and am sold. It's longer (massively longer in carry) and straighter (because the reduced spin just won't let the ball move much). I'm sold on it for now. I haven't kept any of the others in the bag for this long before going back to old faithful, but this is really looking like the one. Finally hit the 909D2 over the weekend. As with the couple of generations before it, I love the look and I hit it pretty good, BUT I still hit my 983K about 10 yds farther. Call me a liar all you want, but I've seen the results for several years, now. I'm in the market to buy something new, as you can clearly see that I'm years behind on drivers, but I'm not long enough to give up distance just to be modern.
I've hit almost everything in recent years and nothing compares to the distance and accuracy I'm still getting out of the k. I like smaller, more traditional heads, but their has to be something out there that will give me more pop than it.

Yeah i've putted with some at a local golf store and loved it, just didn't feel like spending 300+ on a brand new one when i could get one for a lot cheaper online.
Might consider making sure it fits properly. People rarely consider this with putters, but I assure you it matters. If you're going to go wit a high end putter, gave the length, loft and lie fitted.

Not at all. A lot of very good golfers just never give it any thought.I've putted with one the exact length, loft, and lie as the one i bought so I think i should be fine. You don't think i'm THAT clueless, do you bpv?

Do you know the loft and lie of the Camerons? It's tough to get one that is anything but 4 loft and 71 lie.

Just picked up a used Scotty Cameron Newport 2 on ebay for a pretty good price. Hope it improves my putting, i've been putting terribly recently.
I just switched back to my 20 year old trusty Ping Anser. I still roll the ball as well with it than anything else that I've tried.
