Just saw the leaderboard for the final stage of the PGA Q-school. 10 years ago if you had told me that David Duval and Jesper Parnevik would have even been in the field, I'd have thought you were crazy.

if i was Jesper i'd certainly be more concerned about winning my card than i would be about what Tiger Woods was doing.

Jesper said tonight on Sportscenter , he and his wife felt like aploligizing to Elin for introducing her to Tiger. Said Tiger wasn't the person he thought he was.

Pretty bold statement

Just wondering if any of you have ever experienced what i went thru during my last round, i was on the 11th hole, hitting my 2nd shot from a semi-muddy fairway, at impact a crapload of mud hit me in the eyeball, felt like it was going 200 mph. golfing partner dug it all out (he said it was a teaspoon of mud) with an old golf towel that felt like 80 grit sandpaper. But anyway i was a respectable 2 over par leading up to that, shot 12 over the last 7 holes, afraid to hit the golf ball now. Safety glasses perhaps ?

Easy to say after the fact. My question for ole Jesper is....how long have you known about Tiger not being the "person you thought he was"?

anyone got any good info on the new Ping i15s? I always consider new irons every off season, but this season will be the actual season they get replaced. I have loved my i3s, but it's time to step it up a notch.

I'm heading out to Scottsdale AZ next week for some golf and brew, gonna be teeing it up at Copper Canyon GC, Talking Stick GC and Troon North GC.

Nice courses, for restraunts and drinks check out Tempe
There's a good micro brewery Gordon Biersch and a greek restraunt I usually hit up when I'm out there, My Big Fat Greek Restraunt both are within walking distance of each other in Tempe...

For a steakhouse check out Mastro's City Hall, in Scottsdale, it's outstanding....

Highs in the mid 60s lows in the low 40s is the forecast as it stands now, I was hoping for a little warmer but the temps during the golf days should be just fine. Looking forward to playing Copper Canyon and Talking Stick, I played Troon last year and loved it.

Thanks for the info

I've got a good friend that lives in Chandler that knows the area and takes us out, I will definitly suggest the brewery and the steakhouse though, both are right up my alley, beer and beef I like.

I was there, it's about a mile from my place. I followed tim herron and d.d. around for a couple of holes. It was a surreal experience-some of the older members were trying to talk to the players while they walked alongside the players down the fairway. At one point, Herron had to ask an old man to move his chair from beside his ball. good times.

Alright.

I got a Bridgestone gift certificate in the gift bag for that ACC/SEC deal I played this fall, and it was set to expire, so I tried to use it. By the time I call, they are sold out of just about everything, so I'm now the proud owner of a sparkling new driver that I didn't want.

Yay for me.

Somebody needed a guy to hack it into the woods, I guess. It was a pretty cool deal--I posted about it ITT somewhere, but I can't seem to find it.
