I officially have no pride. I just regripped my putter with one of those Super Stroke grips like KJ Choi.
should I ask about the chinmaster? Scares me coming from a husband - wife golfing tandem.
in putting, if it works, do it. Best golfer I know (maybe even better than truefan) uses a belly putter with the sabertooth head on it. Brother can putt and that heavy bastard forces a smooth stroke.
Gutter mind.
I love my sabertooth. It resists my tendency to prop the putter on its heel and makes it harder to make a figure 8 stroke. Also, it looks like the Bat Signal.
several companies now make putters that force proper lie setup. I'm not sure which, but they've just cut a notch in the top line and ask you to get the proper sight picture through it every time.
Best way to avoid it is to be meticulous about hanging your arms below the shoulders and distance you stand from the ball.

i bought an Odyssey 2 ball SRT this winter and i'm just now getting used to it. the 2 ball thing threw me off for a while and i still have tendencies to miss right.
I'm just too damn nice.Somewhat surprisingly, the 2-ball didn't really seem to help me stop yanking the putter inside on the backswing. What really helped was going to Edwin Watts and spending an hour or so on their putting green trying different models. That's how I found the sabertooth.
BPV, I tried to pitch you a softball with that first sentence.
That's my theory too. I was at the PGA Superstore on the putting green and picked up a 2 ball with a huge grip on it just playing around and it felt absolutely pure. I stuck the huge grip on my putter, added lead tape to make sure I could still feel the putter head and it was like a miracle happened.in putting, if it works, do it. Go have somebody check the lies on those irons. It will only take one or two swings on an impact board to figure out if you are a degree or two off and you may even be able to get your clubs bent to the correct lie. Nothing will screw you up faster than clubs with bad lie angles.played with my brother in laws new ap-2's today because I didn't bring my clubs up here.....amazing. I've never hit so many pure shots in my life. Here's my question though, the irons aren't shorter than any other irons-but they feel like it. I'm only 5'9 and have always felt like my clubs were a little off...these were perfect. I think they must have a more upright lie or something.
