Go have somebody check the lies on those irons. It will only take one or two swings on an impact board to figure out if you are a degree or two off and you may even be able to get your clubs bent to the correct lie. Nothing will screw you up faster than clubs with bad lie angles.
will do, thanks for the tip.

I'm really, really, really tempted to buy a new stiff flex TM Burner. Any feedback on them?

Good product. So is every other big name driver out there as well.
Buy a Krank driver. It's stupid long and still legal.

Mind if I ask why not?

For whatever reason, I have problems with a high ball flight when I hit the Burner no matter what shaft I use. I ditched a Burner about 6 months ago and went to a Cobra s9 pro.

I played with one this weekend. It felt dead to me and it had a fairly new shaft in it. It sets up about 2* closed which I found annoying. It didn't see very long. I play with a cobra fspeed normally for comparison. I'm looking for a new driver and thinking about hitting some x shafts.

smaller head on those right? Had you played Cobra drivers before? What shaft do you have in it?

 at Lexvol's post. What driver would you all recommend?

The one that fits you best, go demo several and choose the one that sets up the best for you and passes your eye test. I don't care for the Burner but that's just me, I played Calloway drivers for years, first the Big Bertha then the Hyper X, I just recently switched over to the Adams Speedline and love it.

Bertha X here....but I don't swing them much anymore. BPV tried to warn me!

I usually play everything Callaway. I have an older Fusion driver that is just not a stiff enough flex for me and I'm looking to get a new driver now that I have a little extra money. Thanks for the tip Joey

The head is a little smaller than the Burner. I had briefly hit an F-Speed for a month or two, but no other experience with Cobras before my current Driver. I've got a 65g Aldila Voodoo shaft in it . . . for now. I'm still not completely happy with it, but it's good enough right now.

The Burner is an OK driver, but I just don't like hitting moon balls and not being able to work the ball a little when I want to. My Dad on the other hand, who is an 18 handicap with a slower swing speed, swears by the Burner.
