What was the difference that made you invest in this new set of irons?

Absolutely a great club. I just don't know what else I would hit

Just wear and tear. I liked the AP2's as well. Just not as much. Little too bulky for my liking.

I'm out of the loop on what are the good "new" irons. Any suggestions on some to try out? I might look into getting some. Do you all have graphite or steel shafted irons?

Unless you're over 60 stick with steel shafts. As far as irons go its hard to find a bad set. As crazy as it sounds the way they look to you plays a major part now. Get fitted though. That's the most important thing in irons imo.

I've got the Callaway X-Tours right now, but going to pick up the X-Prototype blade irons in a week or so. I hope they hit as well or better than the X-Tours.

I played at TN National today, and I really like that course. I haven't been out much this year, but my swing was coming around by the later holes. I hope to try out some courses in Isle of Palms when we visit.

they are about to go public.

I'm still in an adjustment phase when it comes to ball striking. Very inconsistent right now...so I understand completely

I think I found something on the range yesterday, which is always a nice feeling to have, at least until I develop a completely unrelated swing flaw tomorrow.
