Tyndall AFB has a great course.

Much obliged. Going down in may and trying to get some ideas. I'll have a first time playing hacker with our group. Actually hoping he can't get a Kitchen Pass from his wife.

Hit the range today. If the U.S. Open is ever held at a driving range I'll win that sumbeech by 20 strokes. I hate golf sometimes.

Carded an 81 today, not overjoyed but not too disappointed either, 9 over for only the second round in over 3 months ain't too bad, beat yesterday's score by 3 strokes. It was absolutely beautiful out there today.

I believe that would be Pelican Point and yes it's a pretty good track, or it was in 04' when I played it anyway, haven't played it since then.

The best I've played in Panama City is Bay Point at the Marriott, it has 2 fine courses, The Nicklaus course and The Meadows course, surprisingly enough I thought the Golden Bear's offering to be the easier of the two, can't go wrong with either one though.

Whichever one of those courses that used to be the Legends course is a beast. Standing on the first tee, there are so many moguls that you literally can't tell where the fairway is.

That would be the one now named The Nicklaus, used to be The Lagoon Legends, much tamer now so they say. I never played it when it was the Lagoon Legends but they claimed it was one of toughest Resort courses in the country, I can't recall the slope rating but it was something off the wall.

I played it in the late 90s and it was nuts. I'd bet that from the back tees the slope was well into the 140s. Mostly what I remember was it being 7,000+ yards with mounds everywhere that I wanted to hit the ball.

How'd you fare ? I had a buddy who played it when it was the Lagoon Legends and he said it was probably the 2nd toughest course he'd ever played, can't remember the exact score he said he shot but it was in the 90's and he was a pretty decent golfer, 7 handicap at the time.

I think it was somewhere around 82 or 83 and I was about a 4 handicap at the time.

About to start looking at some of these mentioned courses. This will actually be my first trip to Panama City Beach. Been all over Florida, but never been there.

Took a vacation day today. Going to find a babysitter or it's time to strap an 11 month old to the golf cart.

Golf is pretty nice there. The beach? The actual beach is pretty, unfortunately its usually littered with an abnormal amount of rednecks. Our last trip there we saw more than one guy wearing swimming jorts.

I was at riviera yesterday, followed a kid I played little league with who is now on tour and saw a dude wearing a vols hat. I thought that was cool.

A lot of guys had the new r11. Best part of the day was my dad saying how bad he hates fowler because of his attire.
