Freddie is an all time talent with a very languid swing, not an all time great.

You're underestimating Furyk. He has a very good swing.

finally set up some golf lessons. Have had one in the past 12 or so years.

Sick of being inconsistent.

Only thing that saves me is my short game. I can chip with the best of em.

At Riviera this week, I was in a tent talking to some golf coaches and they all were bagging on Haney.

The consensus was that he is useless.

Well, yes, in the sense that anyone with 16 wins and a U.S. Open to his credit has a "very good swing," but Furyk is to Couples as Kevin Stallings is to Rick Barnes: most out the least, least out of the most.

I will say rickie fowler seemed like a genuinely nice guy when I saw him at the la open. He spent a lot of time after his round signing autographs and talking to fans.

Shot a 75 Sunday on a par 70. I was six over on the front, one under on the back.

On the day total I missed a 2 foot birdie putt (only thre putt of the day), a 2 foot par save and 5 birdie putts on 8-12 feet.

On 18 my chip lipped out for birdie. I am usually a horrible ball striker, but a great putter chipper. I have never had a day where I missed more putts.

I figured out I wasn't transfering my weight to my front foot and kept getting stuck, and worked on that for a few days and really only missed 5 shots all day.

Hit a 170 7 iron on a par 3 (with help from wind), that is one of the best irons I have hit in a long time. Came very close to 2 hole in ones. Round could have been epic if the flat stick would have cooperated.

I personally do not care for the way the world golf rankings work and have never put much stock in their rankings, that being said I do find it a little sad that the Euros now own the #1,#2,#3 and #4 spots in the rankings. WTF? the men for the Stars and Stripes need to step up their game.

Had a "business trip" to Myrtle last week. Played Tidewater on Friday and Long Bay an Sat. God it felt good to get out.

First lesson in probably ten years tonight. Ball position and shoulder turn need work.

Dude said my swing is identical to jay haas. I guess we have the same hitch at the top.

Love Tidewater (3rd best round for me ever at MB there), Long Bay not so much, nice course condition wise but I've been in every waste area and bunker on that sucker more times than I can count.
