I wasn't even keeping score on my 10th round.

I know people who can't count & been playing for years. Sometimes that 4th putt or slice in the woods or shot in the water don't count. They could make a par out of double bogey in a second until I finally called them out. Now, if I even play with those select few, I just keep score for them.

Sherrie Daly has been on the talk show circuit, a Boston show this morning, now with Cowherd. Lady doesn't shut up.

Wife has insisted we play Pine Needles when we ever go back. What did you think?

It's the best of the those mentioned. You should play Mid-Pines as well. It has an awesome old school hotel and clubhouse. My advice would be to stay at Mid-Pines and play there and Pine Needles(directly across the street from Mid-Pines). They have accommodation packages available.

I honestly don't think you can compare Pine Needles and Dormie Club. They're completely different courses. Personally, I liked Dormie the best but I definitely recommend playing all three.

Serious question for the golfing masses, has anyone ever taken lessons? I'm tempted. I've always had a tempo problem, I just don't know how to fix it without help.

Go to the range and hit balls with your feet together. When you slow down enough that you stop losing your balance, your tempo is fixed.

have to try that. One of those neat little tips, I help remedy my slice by hitting balls with my back to the target, with the ball on line with my feet, don't know why I read it, but it's a help and a half.

My ex bro-in-law let a forged Yonex 7 iron fly one rainy round. Unfortunately, it was on a par 3 with an elevated tee and big lake.

He finally forgave me for laughing uncontrollably.

I played with a guy who was born with no hands, he had the wrist joint but nothing beyond that. He played all varieties of woods and hybrids, and a few wedges.

Anyhow, it was a muggy day, the only rule was that you had to break all the rules and stand directly parallel to him when he swung, because if he overdid it the club was going to fly out. A few clubs took the F off on him, he didn't lose em in the drink, though.
