Played the Clemson University course today. Wind coming off the lake drove me crazy.

I played Lakeview this past Sunday not sure if you ever played it. Shot 79 & that's probably the absolute worst I could've done. Should've been about 6 shots lower but I pissed a lot of shots away.

I didn't come way with that impression at all. I thought it was a nice track. It was a good layout and in great shape considering all the play it gets. I'd love to take another crack at it to get back those shots I gave away due to lack of familiarity with the course.

Lol. Nothing to brag about. Technically one was on the fringe about 12 ft. Took 3 to get in. The other was on the green about 18 ft & I 2 putted for bird. Missed a 5 foot birdie putt on a par 4. 3 putted from about 10 feet on a par 3. Double bogey from 65 yds middle of fairway on par 4. Sounds like I putted terribly but I didn't really. Had a lot burn the edge that just didn't drop. Oh yea I was pin high in 2 in a bunker on another par 5 & took 3 from there to get in. So not bragging lol.

I didn't think it was that bad either. Wasn't overly long. Had a few risk/reward holes. Nice mix of green designs. Decent shape.

Shot an 83 yesterday, best round of the year. Drove the green on a 280 par 4, 4 putted for a bogey.

I can beat that. The other day I had it pin high right of a Par 5 in two. Chunked the flop shot into a buried lie in a bunker. Gouged the next one over the green. Ran the next pitch 10 feet by the hole. Missed the putt and made 7.

Anyone play Titleist AP2 712? Also looking at the Mizuno MP-59. I think its finally time to retire the clubs from high school.

Went to a demo day last month and hit these plus the Ping i25s. Bought the i25s and really like them. Ball seemed to come off the face better. Liked the ap2s second best. Go hit a few different brands (outside) and you will figure out what is best for you.

Get your club pro to call ahead. Still cost us $175, which was unexpected. I think last year was only @ $90 but we were there in off season.
And I guess Camp Creek is going or already has gone private as well.

I need to find a demo day, not many of them here in Clarksville. I have looked in the Nashville area, but haven't had any luck.
