And I bet if you put that "3/4" swing on video it'd actually show the club going to parallel and then coming down with good tempo.

I bet it does. I've actually been thinking about posting my swing on here and letting the experts here give me some pointers. 😎

I think your problem may be mental. I'm not an expert but from reading your posts it just seems to me you think about your swing to much. When I set up to the ball I think about 2 things. My take away and staying balanced through my shot. I don't think about my hands or my hips or anything like that. Have you ever considered chilling out and just getting a good set up and smooth swing and not thinking yourself to death? Maybe I'm weird but I don't think about all that when I'm swinging.

It is almost all mental. But I have also had to change my swing lately after a 7th knee surgery on the same leg, my right one, so weight shift is an issue and getting through the ball is more difficult. I'm usually grip and rip, but have had to change and there is zero confidence.

I understand completely. I've have had 2 back surgeries and was a grip and rip it guy as well. I still give it a good go, but I stay under control now. I have a high swing speed, but just shortening the swing has helped me stay more accurate but sill keep most of my distance.

If you're right handed it's better its that knee. Just try & keep all your weight left, from setup through the swing.

Time to open up, hang on to it and play the ole butt cut.

It's either that or close it, put a lot of weight on my left foot and hood everything. And that's the issue. Been searching and trying it all. I heard them yesterday talk about Phil trying to let the club pass across is body due to his age and other issues. Problem is that makes me feel like all arms. Bad part is a friend thought I farted during my swing last time out but it was my knee grinding at transfer.
I just need to brace up, have a few red bulls with vodka and not worry about it.

Went to a wedding at Whistling Straits this weekend. Contemplated dropping the money to play a round but after seeing it I'm glad I didn't. Bought a hat and shirt instead of the 3 dozen balls I would have lost in those weeds

Played a scramble today and was paired with a lady, that was the best woman golfer I ever played with

She was awesome, the only lost shot she had today was a tee shot on the 18th hole, after 17 holes of beers and shots.

we won 9 up

I told my neighbor that set the tournament up, that she had to be my partner next year

yea, whistling straights is expensive and tipping the caddie
could have played the river or meadow course at Black Wolf Run, and had a great day

Wish we'd had time to look into it. Will if we ever make it back up this way. Kohler is a great place to stay though. Had a putting/pitching green right outside our patio

When I play bad it's due to my driver.

The tee ball is definitely important. If you find yourself having to take drops, re-tee, or chip out those add up quick. If you get it in play & can skank it up around the green the worst you're gonna make is bogey if you just have an average short game.

A few years ago I got paired with a lady in a scramble. Turns out she played for Arkansas state and played in the Women's US Am. I think we used 2 of my shots all day. She was a beast.

Really thinking about gaming the covert 2.0 irons. All the reviews are extremely good & it's one of the best looking clubs I've seen in a while.

Good looking sticks. I'd rather have the forged but those are nice too. I'd play with them. Stick have my Cobra Amps. Best combo of looks & forgiveness I've found.

I have a buddy that's been playing his amp cells for a while now & loves them. I've honestly never tried their irons.

Have the amp cell driver though & love it.

I have the Amps from a couple years ago. Most of their irons are a little gaudy but they perform. Not like you see anything but the face & topline when you're over the ball anyway. I have a cobra 3wood & 5 wood too...& a 59* trusty rusty.
