I've got time for one round in Destin this week. I'll drive 45 minutes maximum in any direction. It'll be an afternoon round, after 12 between $50-75. I wanted to play The Links at Sandestin but a buddy told me they punched their greens 3 weeks ago and still want 75.00 to play.
Where am I going to play?

I can't hit a hybrid they just hook too much for me. Have a few but finally just gave up & got a 5 wood. I'm about the same way on irons & driver. I hit a lot of solid shots but still like something fairly forgiving but not something with huge offset or too bulky. I have the original razr fit driver that I put an upgraded shaft in & I can't find anything I hit better.
Just got one of these. Anyone else use it?
I have a 3.0 on one putter. Just took a 2.0 off of the one I'm gaming. I like the superstroke just personally don't think they work for every putter type at least not for me. I put a winn triple line on my odyssey #9 & I seem to putt a lot better with it. It's more of a pistol grip that's a little bigger than standard.
IMO a face balanced work better with them. Also if the head weight is too light makes it feel awkward & tough to get speed right on longer putts.
And also, people who use toe hang putters tend to have good hands and good strokes anyway..... pretty much the opposite of the target market for putter grip I use.
Question for the group.
4 man scramble. Hole is a par 5. One guy gets a really nice drive and along with a 2nd shot, you find yourself 50ft for eagle. Player 1 putts and misses. Player 2 putts and misses under hole leaving an 8 inch tap in for birdie, which he marks in the event player 3 or 4 miss. Player 3 puts, and, having seen the line, hits the same shot, except this time his ball hits the coin marking player 2's ball and drops. How do you score it? Eagle? Birdie?
No question about it . . . That's an Eagle.Question for the group.

That's how we scored it. Some guy seemed to take issue with it though when we were talking about it after.
Of course he also tried to disqualify another team because one guy had 15 clubs in his bag, during a charity golf tournament. He then went on to claim his team went -24 for the day.
