I don't think he should get DQ'd, but he deserves to catch hell. Running after a putt to stop it? Seriously?
It was his way of making a point that the course was pretty much unplayable at that point. Who cares? They are making a big deal out of nothing.

I don't know if you have ever had the chance to listen to Hank Haney's show on Sirius XM radio, but he absolutely hates the USGA. Monday's show should be very entertaining.

Lol... I probably hear that in the car 2-3 days a week. He's absolutely going to kill them on Monday.

I agree. Sure, it didn’t exactly come across as the most mature move in the world, but he might have actually saved himself a couple of strokes even with the 2 stroke penalty. Not that it will make any difference at this point.

No way Phil was thinking about saving strokes when he started chasing the ball. He was just frustrated.
