It's just the stock 10.5 degree Tour Burner with a 60 gram Fujkiura stiff shaft. The specs say it is 1 degree open, but it sets up square. There was no launch monitor or club fitting involved. I just hit it on the driving range and liked it that much. I'm not into stepping off drives, but the combined distance and playability of this driver is amazing.Which one did you go with?
you got the TP? Is it enough to give up my old 510 TPIt's just the stock 10.5 degree Tour Burner with a 60 gram Fujkiura stiff shaft. The specs say it is 1 degree open, but it sets up square. it sets up square? what are the shaft options? Not the TP, but the regular Burner. Supposedly the difference is that the TP is more workable, but I was able to work the Burner in both directions, so I opted for the forgiveness. It is definitely longer than my old Driver, but the shocking thing is how far it goes on off center hits. A couple of times I heeled it and got almost the same distance as I would have hitting my old driver in the screws.
I think the ignite is as old as my stick. If you want good deal right now, you can get the tour model Callawaw X 460 with a stock Fuji Tour Platform 26.3 for $149 on tgw.com or Golfsmith.went to the golf store today in Turkey Creek..saw the TM burners..damn those are expensive.
anyone played with the Nike Ignite? I think I might look into buying those, they match my bag perfectly.
however, I love this driver. The YS6 isn't my shaft of choice, but it's not bad in the Titleist either. It's also WAY less than I paid for mine just one year ago.
Used Titleist Golf Clubs - PREOWNED 905T W/ GRAPH
I have always preferred smaller clubs, irons and woods, but there is no disputing the added value in the larger heads. The big boys have all even begrudgingly switched over time on the woods. Most are holding firm on the irons because the benefits just aren't enough to overcome the look and feel comfort zone.I overwhelmingly prefer the smaller T, but to each their own I guess.

I don't think the larger clubs are dramatically better, but incremental differences to those guys is everything. I think the reduced spin rates, higher flatter flight and better mishits makes all the difference.the 905T is still 400cc and I can control and hit it just as long and consistently fade it just like I do with the 460s. There were several Ts on tour before the D2 came out.

FWIW, I'm still hitting a 390cc job.
and I just ordered the new TM Tour Burner with Diamana TS shaft. Fired up about it.The R just felt flat to me. I had no feel with the club whatsoever. The S was even worse.
If i had the spending money a D2 would be in my bag right now. I've never felt a spring like effect from a Titleist before that club. Had the feel I was missing from the R and S as well.
I do this once a year and end up back with my 'old faithful'. Hence, I end up giving away a driver every year.Keep us updated on how it performs. For now I'll stick with my 905T (N65 shaft). One day I'll make big bucks and step up.
I did go hit this stick however after reading GAVol's comments. Love the setup and the ball flight.
I think that was the main difference in the TP and non TP line. I got the non TP because I can control the height with the shaft. I just like the lesser lateral movement, which I can absolutely live without.I played with it again yesterday and had the same results. I love that driver. The only problem I have is I think I could have gone with less loft. 10.5 may prove to be a little too much. The wind was blowing yesterday and I had some problems ballooning the ball into the wind. It launches the ball much higher than my old driver.
