I played it last fall and didn't think it was ver tough
Shot a piss poor round of 86 today in miserable heat, finally got the driver swing going and failed miserably at the rest of the game, damn game never ceases to piss me off and excite me at the same time. Leaving for some beach golf in the morning, see you guys in about a week.
Played in a Member Guest this weekend. I didn't win anything, but I did manage to accidentally break my driver . . . while it was still in the bag . . . in the middle of the final round . . . and I wasn't even mad and throwing or slamming clubs. It was quite an episode of Murphy's Law in action.
I was putting my putter back in my bag and completely missed the bag. The head of the putter hit my driver and cracked the shaft. My partner immediately looked and me and said, "So. . . you gonna lay up with a 3 wood here?"As in a splintered shaft maybe? I somehow torqued a Callaway Warbird driver many years ago in my bag on a cart and the shaft was splintered. I took it to an Edwin Watts and they swapped it out on the spot no questions asked.

if that Nickent is a 4dx, you have a great club. However, if it has a stock shaft in it, you need to have that addressed immediately. Slam the Aldila VS proto by you hybrid shaft in it and I think you'll like it.Just wanted to say that I officially cannot hit this dumb hybrid that I purchased. It's a Nickent something or other....killing me. I'm just going to find a 3 iron to match my set. In other news...i've a big fan of my new Cleveland 54* DSG wedge. I'm loving the sole grind...magic out of the beach.
What are you hitting in your Driver right now? Due to the unfortunate demise of the Fujikura stock shaft (which I grew to hate) in my Tour Burner, I need to come up with something quick.if that Nickent is a 4dx, you have a great club. Thanks for the recommendation. I'm going to try and find one to demo and probably go get on a launch monitor to see where my specs are right now. I like the Driver, I just could not get a feel for the shaft and what my standard shot shape was going to be.PMd you. Those spec Fujis tend to be junk, unless you get the TP models, then they're the real thing.
