also, my first ever par. Yeah that's right. Look out tiger
How about Centinnel Oak Ridge?
Pernice is alway's rumming off at the mouth
I remember a comment I read, after a PGA Club Pro, made a US Open, and was playing with Pernice
The Club Pro, hit a bunker shot, and as Pernice walked by the bunker he told the club Pro's caddie " to spend a little more time racking the bunker, this wasn't a weekend round at his home course"
I had the round of my short golf life today. Shot a 47 on the front nine from the blue tees (didn't have time to play all 18) lol. What a day, I didn't screw up as much as I had. Maybe taking a few days off helped a little.
Also used my 3 iron today...to punch out from under a tree, thanks UT IE.
I am back to loving this game haha
Bring plenty of balls. #10 is one of the toughest holes in this area, in my opinion. Long par 5, uphill tee shot with a forced carry over a gorge, OB right the entire length of the hole and the fairway slants that way, then sharp dogleg right to a very sloped green with a pond in front of it. Good times.
they are darn good looking clubs and all have top shelf shafts in them. I like those small looking hybrids.I'm looking at a set of adams pro combos with true temper black gold shafts in the irons and proto shafts in the hybrids....any thoughts?
that's what i was looking for, thanks.they are darn good looking clubs and all have top shelf shafts in them. I like those small looking hybrids.
I hit th proto shaft in my new driver and like it, but it is a low flight ride. I hit the project x shafts, but understand tht the black gold is the same stick.
I normally play a slight draw with all my other clubs, but everytime I hit the hybrid, it ends up being a really strong hook. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this issue?
Welcome to my world. I hook the bejeezus out of every hybrid I have tried. It finally got so bad that I stuck the 2 iron back in the bag because at least I knew where it was going if I missed it.
I think there are a few that are neutrally weighted. I hit the Bridgestone J33 which is neutral and the newly released J36 is neutral. Also, the Nickent 4dx is neutral as is the Adams Pro Series (or whatever it's called.I've got a hybrid question for anyone who knows much about them. I'm trying to find a hybrid to replace my 5-wood. For some reason, I have lost all control with that club and would like to get it out of my bag. I've tried several different hybrids (Ping G10, Taylormade, and now I'm playing with an old Titleist) but every one of them I seem to hook pretty bad. I normally play a slight draw with all my other clubs, but everytime I hit the hybrid, it ends up being a really strong hook. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this issue?
