The GOP and Minority Rule

Flooding mailboxes with ballots was "rational and reasonable"? Bypassing the legislature was reasonable?
No one flooded mailboxes with ballots. No one illegally bypassed the legislature.
If something was illegal, take it to court and prove it.

One of the best analyses I've read concerning the structural problems with American democracy. We're not on a good path if the GOP continues their anti-democratic ways.
The insurrection was put down. The GOP plan for minority rule marches on.

We are not a Democracy

We are a Constitutional Republic

The difference in terms you might understand

10 men in the room. 6 men vote to be women, 4 want to stay men. All 10 have to get a sex change to be women. Thats a democracy

Same scenario as above except the 6 men become women, 4 men stay men...Constitutional Republic

God, this is such a tired argument. America is not a direct democracy. We are a representative democracy.

Why the Right Keeps Saying That the United States Isn’t a Democracy

‘America Is a Republic, Not a Democracy’ Is a Dangerous—And Wrong—Argument

What would have happened if a court or the SC threw out the election results? I am not saying they should or should not have but the Left would have burned the country down and many anarchists would have gladly joined in from both sides. No judge or state wanted to be responsible for that. That is the real answer not the purely legal one that you keep throwing out. It was political expediency

What would have happened if a court disenfranchised millions of voters who followed the rules that they were told to follow?

Also let’s not forget what the left was planning. A 50 day siege on the White House, but that would have been totally fine. Luther and the rest of the NPC’s would of found someway to explain why they and all on their side is righteous.

Follow the law.
Nobody would be disenfranchised.
If the violations of state constitutions caused an election to be set aside there are provisions for what to do next within the law. Either way a large group was disenfranchised

The law was followed.
If not, take it to court. Oh yea, they tried.

How come you always have to have opinionated links to back your opinions up? Can you not argue/think for yourself sheep?

Unfortunately, we have too many on here that ask posters to give "credible links" to back-up their posted opinions.
It is what it is .... I suppose.

Trump sheep are no different than Democrat sheep when it comes to how malleable they are. Just listening to a different shepherd.
Agreed, but one has all the control over our culture institutions. It’s not as black and white as both sides suck. The left has cultural, political, and social power and they try to wield that to destroy peoples lives. That is nothing like the trump sheep at this time.
