Always wondered how those worked.Anyone here cook on an outdoor brick wood-burning grill? Building one of these sometimes gets discussed while settin’ and sippin’. It would be something really basic, like this: https://dengarden.com/home-improvement/Build-Your-Own-Brick-Barbecue
How do you modify your usual charcoal grilling techniques? Are these basically for hot dogs and burgers, steaks and pork chops?
I like the possibility of it doubling as a fire pit (we’re talking a tiny backyard!)

Fairly proud of this plate.
Nothing against a filet, it's the best. But....you had raw oysters. Why was anything else needed at that point !!! Well, maybe the chantrells.Chanterelles
Really not that difficult. You just have to boil octopus for a long time before grilling. I included herbs, garlic, peppercorns, and lemon in the pot.
Anyone have suggestions for smoking a turkey? I’ve never done one before. I have a rec tec and a Kamado Joe. I think I’d rather smoke it on the Kamado Joe unless someone talks me out of it.
