The Holly Bobo Kidnapping

This thread hasn't provided legitimate information that hasn't been posted. As a matter of fact, it has included information that is simply not true. This thread has been speculation. You can even talk to a state trooper around the area and talk to a local cop and get two different sets of information. There is no close to the case people, this is very tight-lipped and anyone who claims to know anything of significance is speculating.

All-righty then.

yea, tiger, you've been wasting your time.....and ours! cut it out! :)

I, for one, am not bashing tiger but more of the other people. Tiger heard that information and posted it, that is all you can do as a poster. However, I've talked to a trooper in that area and a local cop and both seem far apart in some of the things I heard from them.

According to one of the county sheriff's, when the TBI got involved, they local police became as informed as the average citizen.

You should prob go with the troopers' word.

For most of this thread, there has been info coming from tiger and and others, who have had actual contact with people close to this case.

That seems to have slowed or even stopped for whatever reason.

I think there's a sense of inevitability now that didn't exist earlier in this drama.

Haha, I almost posted that but didn't want to sound condescending towards a cop. But I agree in comparing the two stories, the trooper's sounded more legitimate.

Side note: I know in looking back that the hoax theories have been out there. I will say this, I've been told they are still investigating the possibility of it being a hoax. However, I was told not to look into that because they are still looking at every possible scenario.

It's not condesending, it's just a matter of fact. THP is prob going to be "in the know" more than local law enforcment, when it comes to a case in which the TBI is involved with.

That said, they still don't know that much either.

Other posters are less credible because you've talked to two cops? You're not adding to the conversation. Youre throwing stones.

What? I didn't say that. Outside of Tiger and 1-2 others, this thread has been mostly absurd. I'm not claiming to know more than Tiger; however I know you have read through these posts and seen that the majority is speculation or straight up BS. That's what I'm referring to.

I think we're on the same page. Carry on.:)

I think LE is as baffled as the rest of us. I read so many positive things about Holly, how disciplined she is, church choir, studying nursing..., I would find it difficult to believe any of this could be a hoax. However, there is something very strange about the entire case.

Gathering what people say from other sites and asking those who know people close to the search about those things is not speculation imo. That's the way this thread started out anyway. No better way to squash a rumor than to ask about it. Granted, some theories that we've all be reading and hearing seem absurd, normally. But this is far from "normal"...if there is such a word in an abduction case.

V4L has provided some good information.

Ok so if Blink is right, are there really any big time, prominent families in that area?

Like so many I've been looking everywhere for information about the case. Tiger thank you for your posts about the case, they gave me hope when I began to lose it.

Before finding this forum I read alot at webslueths or something. I was extremely glad to find information being discussed by men, here. Trying to read through the various posts and sort through the obvious rumors by a few hundred bored housewife's wasn't much fun.

For what its worth, Blink's stance on what she posts almost mirrors the way Tiger posts. I follow them both hoping for good news on Holly.

I appreciate it..being from the same town and just a year younger than her and also going to church with her I just felt like I could pass along whatever I knew to help you guys out. Definitely don't claim to know any inside info just passing along what my family/other people involved in the search has told me..and if I hear anything new I'll definitely post it. It's been awfully quiet the last few days around town though.

After reading all of Blink's comments/posts.....that's what I began to wonder. I mean, Parsons only has 2500 people......and although its a really nice area (and I'm kind of familiar with it), it isn't exactly "thriving," to my knowledge......
